Sure enough, two soft black ears, slightly curved and furry, twitched above his head.
He grabbed them but the moment his fingers touched the base of the ears, he flinched hard, his body stiffening at the strange feeling that ran down his spine.
He pulled his hands back quickly. "What's going on?!" he said to himself, stepping back from the glass.
He turned his head a little to check the rest of his body, and when he twisted enough, he caught sight of a short, black, round tail at the base of his back, just above his waistline. His face went red.
Elric appeared beside him, looking calm as always, with his arms crossed behind his back and a small amused smile on his lips. "You are not aware that you have beastblood in you?" he asked in a calm voice.
Clint didn't answer. He was too stunned, still staring at his reflection, still trying to believe that the ears and tail were real.
