(AN: I own nothing and read last chapter)
"Why are you back already?" Zoro asked glaring up at Luffy who was staring at him with a serious look.
"The blond daddy's boy never planned to keep his promise. He's going to have you executed tomorrow morning." Luffy said seriously and making Zoro growl lowly at that.
"I can't die until I fulfil that promise to beat Mihawk." Zoro growled out making Luffy nod as if he understood, which he did very well.
"If I break you out of here they're going to claim you as a criminal and pirate. Will you join me?" Luffy asked making Zoro frown but nod his head.
"Fine. I will join you but I need my swords. The brat has them." Zoro said making Luffy nod his head after all what was a swordsman without his swords?
"I'll get them back but if you want them you definitely have to join my crew." Luffy said with a grin making Zoro's eyebrow twitch heavily.
"Blackmailing me? Are you the son of the devil or something?" Zoro demanded glaring darkly at Luffy who laughed at that.
"Nope! I'm the son of pirates!" Luffy said proudly before turning towards the marine base and sensing everyone on the roof.
He grinned as he shot off with a Gum-Gum Rocket and left Zoro behind him looking shocked and confused.
"Wha-?"
"Huh what I almost hit?" Luffy asked having barely dodged around the statue that was almost hanging off of the roof of the marine base.
"Who are you?" A guy with an axe for a hand asked glaring darkly at Luffy while Helmeppo was surprisingly there first, although he had a larger bruise on his face than when Luffy last saw him.
"That's the guy that hit me!" Helmeppo said pointing at Luffy and making Luffy grin darkly at him.
"Ah just the little sissy brat I was looking for! You have something that belongs to my soon to be swordsman!" Luffy said walking towards Helmeppo who 'eeped' and ducked down timidly.
"Wha-" Helmeppo yelped as Luffy grabbed ahold of him by the shoulder and tightened his grip a little bit.
"You dare come here and not show me respect?!" The axe handed dude yelled at Luffy who looked at him confused and curious.
"Who are you?" Luffy asked completely serious and half of the marines fell over anime style and the other half looked terrified.
"I am Captain Axe Hand Morgan! I am the greatest!" Morgan near roared and Luffy gave him a curious look.
"So you're better than a vice-admiral or a rear-admiral…even an actual admiral?" Luffy asked curiously and Morgan twitched a bit at that and scowled darkly.
"All know my greatness and respect me!" Morgan yelled making Luffy frown at him.
"Respect or fear cause there's a big difference there?" Luffy asked and Morgan was definitely twitching badly now.
"This magnificent statue in my likeness is the ultimate sign of the towns respect for-"
"No wonder that thing is so ugly. Here let me fix it." Luffy cut Morgan off as he walked over to the statue's base. And then before anyone could stop him…he kicked it.
The marines stared at him like he was crazy for a moment and Morgan began laughing.
"You think a mere kick could do anything to a statue of my grea-" Crack! Luffy began walking off and dragging Helmeppo with him as the marines watched stunned as spider web cracks started forming on the base of the statue where Luffy had kicked it before spreading up the entire thing. As they watched in shock, the entire statue developed cracks in it before it suddenly crumbled into pieces.
"Now where is Zoro's sword?" Luffy asked Helmeppo as he dragged the boy through the base to retrieve the sword while another marine notified Morgan of Coby being in the execution yard trying to untie Zoro.
"My room. Right back there." Helmeppo said pointing at a room they passed just a minute ago. Luffy turned around and jogged towards the room, which was far pinker than he expected it to be. Honestly his twin and younger cousins rooms weren't this pink!
"Which one is his?" Luffy asked but it seemed Helmeppo had fainted or passed out during some point of being dragged around like a limpet.
"Eh. He could probably use a spare if nothing else." Luffy said shrugging as he gathered all three swords in his arms and then opened the window that was conveniently over looking where Zoro and Coby were about to be shot by marines.
Luffy happily jumped out of the window with swords in hand and landed right in front of Coby and Zoro just in time for the marines to pull the triggers. The bullets hit him head on and Luffy laughed as he stretched a bit before they flew right back at the marines.
"Looks like I got here just in time. Here I didn't know which one was yours." Luffy said holding the swords out to a gaping Zoro.
"I use a three sword style. What are you?" Zoro asked staring at Luffy in shock and disbelief.
"I'm a Rubber man!" Luffy said grinning as he pulled out his pistol and shot the ropes off of Zoro with one bullet each.
"So you ate one of the mythical devil fruits…" Morgan said and then went on a monologue about the devil fruits and how each one gave weird or powerful abilities to the eaters.
"Oh yeah I forgot how rare devil fruits are in this sea." Was all Luffy had to say about it as everyone stared at him after the explanation was over. Morgan growled and ordered the marines to use their swords if bullets wouldn't work. Luffy looked confused as he glanced to make sure his sword and his own gun were still visible to the marines, honestly if he wanted to he could take out all of them with either weapon so why…?
Luffy was happy to let Zoro handle it and show his stuff a bit before the marines started saying that he and Zoro were too strong.
"Any marine who just said those words draw your guns and eat a bullet." Morgan ordered and the marines were just as shocked as the pirates and Coby were but they moved to follow orders.
Now Luffy stepped in.
A controlled wave of Haki swept over the marines, knocking all of the ones who drew their guns and pointed it at themselves out cold and forcing the others to their knees. Morgan was trembling and breathing hard under the force of the Haki.
"What did you do?!" Coby and Zoro gaped as they looked at Luffy who didn't look happy as he stared at Morgan.
"You're no captain. You're no man. You are an overgrown child whose ego is out of control and bullies those weaker than him. Anyone who orders the death of those who follows him is trash and you? You're definitely trash…and I'm the cleaning guy." Luffy said popping his fingers, and don't ask him how that worked since all of his joints were rubber and thus should not be able to pop like that, as he glared without the Haki this time and slowly walked forward towards Morgan.
"I have a hostage Straw Hat!" Helmeppo was pointing a gun at Coby's head while Luffy didn't stop as he advanced on Morgan.
"Do it Luffy! I'm not afraid to die for my dream!" Coby yelled. Luffy didn't bat an eye as he drew his gun and aimed it behind him while Morgan roared and tried to bring the axe down on Luffy's head.
A bullet knocked the gun from Helmeppos hand just as an armament covered arm not only stopped the axe from hitting Luffy's head but also snapped the axe clean off. Holstering the gun as everyone stared shocked at the fact that neither bullets nor blades seemed to work on him, from their perspective at least, Luffy's now free pointer finger came just shy of digging into Morgan's stomach as he whispered one word before using a technique his Mama Stussy taught him.
"Shigan."
Morgan was sent flying back and likely wouldn't be getting up again any time soon if at all.
