1 Piece AU Luffy Charlotte

(AN: I own nothing and read last chapter)
"Luffy-kun are you okay?" Brulee was immediately kneeling down to check on Luffy as soon as they all got together outside of the woods, Compote staring at the sight of the little boy dragging two dead boars while there was a pipe at his waist.
"Shishishishi! I got food Branch! They're stronger than the ones on Dawn island but I got two of em!" Luffy said proudly showing her his kills while Brulee's eye twitched a bit at being called a branch again but she ignored it for the moment.
"You know you didn't have to go hunting right? There's plenty of food in the chateau for everyone." Brulee asked even as she took out a handkerchief and started to dab at his scratches.
"Eh? But if I don't hunt I don't eat. Dadan says that if I want to get fed I have to either hunt or act like a bandit, but I don't like bandits." Luffy said tilting his head at her confused. She was really weird.
"That might be true for bandits but we're not bandits. We're pirates remember, Peroin?" Perospero asked although his eyes darkened as he heard that, well that was something else to tell Morgans.
"You really scared Amande-nee-chan when you jumped out of her window and ran off you know? Why don't we go let her know that you're okay?" Brulee asked offering the boy her hand and he looked at her and then at the boars he was dragging. He was obviously confused and not sure how he'd take her hand while carrying his bounty.
"Where'd the Chess peacekeepers go?" Compote asked Broye as she noticed the lack of her sisters guards.
"Back there. Luffy-kun thought that they were going to hurt me because he saw them on the slavers ship and he beat them pretty badly." Broye said making Compote raise an eyebrow. Sure they were just some pawns and rooks but for them to be beaten up by a child…
"Did the Chess Peacekeepers hurt you?" Brulee asked hearing her twin and her eyes narrowed with rage as she finished dabbing the blood off of Luffy's face.
"Shishishishi! Nope! They didn't even touch me before I kicked their butts! The boars got me but I won! Shishishishi!" Luffy laughed making Brulee smile slightly at his unique laugh. All of her siblings and her mama had their own kind of laugh so it was kind of funny that Luffy's was different from everyones.
"Well how about we take the boars to the kitchen for the chefs to cook and go let the others know you're okay?" Brulee offered making Luffy's eyes widen and he beamed at her. Meat!
"Okay Branch!" Luffy said latching onto her leg and making her eyebrow twitch again.
"My name is Brulee remember?" Brulee asked hoping the boy honestly hadn't forgotten her name already.
"I know! But Ace-nii said you're supposed to give people you like nicknames! Like how he calls me his sunshine and Shanks called me Anchor!" Luffy said brightly and Perospero stopped short, as did Compote. Shanks? As in Red haired Shanks?
"You know Shanks?" Perospero asked making Luffy nod his head happily.
"Yep! He saved me from bad bandits and the sea king and he gave up his arm to save me but he said it was okay cause I was safe and gave me his hat! I promised him I was going to be a really great pirate when I see him again and return it!" Luffy said holding his hat down on his head with one hand while his other arm, literally the whole arm, wrapped around Brulee's leg several times.
Compote and Perospero shared a long silent look with each other, knowing that they'd have to tell Mama about this but honestly they weren't sure how she would react. Hell they weren't sure how they were going to react to this news! They had heard that Shanks had come back to the New World having lost an arm and thought he had lost it by being either overconfident or because there was a strong new player in the game…however to learn that he had lost it saving a little boy who he saw so much potential in that he gave up the arm and his hat?
As Morgans would say that was very much 'Big News'.
Brulee was blushing and focused on how Luffy had said he was calling her 'Branch' because he liked her. She barely even heard the part about Shanks. Broye was just enjoying how embarrassed but happy her sister looked.
"Well. Let's get you back to Amande-nee-san and Pudding-chan." Brulee said coughing to try and hide her embarrassment as Perospero ordered two of the chess pieces to pick up the boars and take them to the kitchen.
"Okay Branch!" Luffy said beaming up at her with a wide grin and she scowled but her face was still red.
"You're lucky you're cute." Brulee muttered as she opened a large mirror for them.
"Shishishishi! Ace-nii says I'm cute too! He said I was cute enough to get away with anything once but then said he won't let anyone take advan…advent…advance? I think that's the word! He won't let anyone take advance of me being cute and rubber!" Luffy said laughing again and Compote's face went blank at that. The boy must mean the word advantage. His brother wouldn't let anyone take advantage of how cute this kid was or how he was made of rubber.
Yeah the Charlotte siblings knew full well what the older brother meant by that and given how this boy was damn near made of sunshine as well as rubber…how he so innocently and naively said things that he probably shouldn't…yeah they can see why the older brother is so worried about that.
"Don't worry. We won't let anyone take advantage of that either." Brulee said patting the boys head with one hand as she walked through the mirror world, her siblings behind her, and her unbothered by the boys light weight on her leg.
"Luffy!" Pudding happily waved and called out to Luffy when he appeared out of a mirror with her big sisters and brother.
"He's hurt?" Amande asked and Brulee saw how her eyes had narrowed and her hand gripped the handle of her sword.
"He went hunting in the woods like we thought. He killed two medium sized boars on his own before Broye found him." Perospero quickly spoke up to keep his sister from going on a massacre of the chess soldiers. Not that he would blame her if she did, especially if they caused this intriguing child injuries.
"Mou. You forgot to take me!" Pudding puffed up her cheeks and pouted at Luffy while the other siblings in attendance all stared curiously at the boy wrapped around Brulee's leg.
"Shishishishi! Sorry! I'll take you next time! We might be able to get three or even four boars if we work together! Or maybe a crocodile!" Luffy said with a laugh as he untangled himself from Brulee.
"Oh no. You two are not running around my woods on your own, especially not while hunting. If you go to the woods you have to take an older sibling with you." Brulee said sternly to the children who looked up at her with matching innocent eyes.
"Did he really catch and kill some boars on his own?" Big Mom asked her children curiously and the four of them there all nodded their heads.
"I had some Chess pieces take them to the chefs, peroin. There is also something I need to tell you Mama." Perospero said stepping forward and Compote tensed slightly, ready to grab the boy and run if her mother flew into a rage.
"What is it Perospero?" Big Mom asked frowning at the tense posture of her two eldest who looked hesitant and exchanged another look. Perospero glanced at Luffy who was running around the other Charlotte siblings in attendance with wide stary eyes as he talked about how cool they looked, something that had a few of them looking shocked or blushing.
Then he looked back at his mother and dropped the bombshell that might set her off, but if he didn't tell her then she'd definitely fly into a rage when she found out later and learned that he knew.
"The boya knows Red Hair."
