Noah Orion's POV
"Ahhh!",
I woke up early in the morning today with still tied to my bed as the nightmares were not very gentle with me.
It was a weird thing that the nightmares I had were, kind of similar ones had before my unsuccessful ascension.
I then took off the handcuffs.
'Today is going to be the awakening day.', I thought.
The awakening day is a very special day for a kid's life as it sets a goal for them to reach and solidifies their destiny.
"What a bullshit day!", I said.
'To me it was just the riches way of justifying why the poor are getting poorer but I didn't care.', I thought and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and take a bath.
After brushing my teeth and dressing myself, I sat on the ground and started to rotate my core to collect and integrate the energy from the atmosphere.
"Young master, it's time if you won't wake up you will be late.",
Ellie said as she poked her head through the door.
"Oh, you are awake,",
She said as she was embarrassed.
"Yeah, I am. So, when is the ceremony going to start.", I asked.
"Sir, according to the information, I gathered from the other nanny it will be after all the elders, and all the wives gather.",
She said.
"Alright. When my mother come please call me.", I said.
"Yes sir.",
She said and went her way.
"I need to find inspiration first.", I said as I need to master the 2nd blade.
I then started to meditate and used my mind to draw two martial artist and their techniques.
In my mind, I saw two people one with swords.
'Alright use [Five strikes of leaves] and you will use [Heavenly Demonic 2nd blade: Ten slashes of butterflies]', said in my mind.
Then both of them draw their weapon.
The one of them put the weapon near his face ready to attack.
While the other put it straight ready to strike.
"Fight!"
As both of the martial artist lashed towards each other there sword strike each other.
"TANG!"
Then suddenly, the sword of the [Heavenly demon blade] broke and the [Five strike of leaves one].
"How?"
"Tch!"
I tried to remember how I overcame this wall but I can't remember.
"Shit!", I have to try something else.
"Master, mam is here."
Ellie said.
I then stopped the mock battle,
"We will finish it later.", I said as I opened my eyes.
"So, my mother is here?", I asked Ellie.
"Yes sir.",
She answered me.
"Alright then let's go",
I said as I started to walk out of the door and Ellie followed me.
As we walked out of my room, I saw the servants were extra busy today preparing for the ceremony.
-"Get this dish done first."
-"I am doing it."
-"Have you bought the table cloth."
They all were making last minute preparation.
I continued to walk towards my mother's room.
As I reached her door, something in my heart ached.
I didn't know who was feeling it. Cheon Yeon who had lost his mother at an early age or Noah Orion whose mother had to go to the battlefield when he was five.
'I am feeling conflicted', I thought.
Seeing me like this Ellie got sad but she couldn't say anything to console me.
I then immediately exhaled out and knocked on the door.
"Knock! Knock!"
"Mother, it's me. Should I enter?", I asked.
Suddenly I felt the door opened and immediately a woman jumped and hugged me.
"Noahhhh! It's been so long. Mother has missed you for so long.",
She said while crying her eyes out.
As I saw through the open door, I saw my brother Mike Orion and sister Josephine Orion wave at me.
"Mother it's alright I missed you too.", I said as I hugged her back.
And we both hugged each other for a good five to ten minutes as she continued to cry in my arms.
I also saw the look on Josephine and Mike's face like they were happy for me to finally meet mother after so long.
Then she took my face in her hands and said to me,
"I heard the nightmares have gotten worse. Are you alright?", she said as she looked at my face.
"Well, they are bad but I can endure it.", I said while feeling pretty embarrassed.
Then she looked at my arms and saw the cuff marks to which her face got sadder.
"Sorry, Noah. I couldn't be there for you when you needed me the most",
She said while still looking sad.
"It's alright. I know you had some important work to do.", I said.
"Don't worry from today onwards your mom is going to be there from now on.",
she said with a resolute face.
"Assistant, cancel all of the meeting with the military officials, I am going to spend time with my family.",
She said to the assistant.
"Ok mam",
She replied and touched her pad.
"Let's go to the ceremony for now.", she said and I followed her with my other two siblings.
"How are you?",
Mike asked.
"I am good.", I replied.
"Of course, he is going to be good.",
Josephine said as she put me in a chokehold.
"Sister it hurts.", I said.
'She is quite strong.', I thought.
"Bah! You two are just weak.",
She said and released me.
"So, what rank do you think you guys are going to awaken?",
Mike asked.
"I would be happy with Alexandrite level or Sapphire level.", I said.
"Well, I will always try for the best.",
Josephine said.
"I will be happy with sapphire level",
Mike said while nodding his head.
"We know.",
Josephin teased him.
"What the hell, is that supposed to mean?",
Mike asked.
"By the way, I heard Michael tried to fight with you?",
Josephine asked with a concerned face.
"Well, he had tried but was unsuccessful at it, needless to say but if he tries to something with me, I won't leave him alive.",
I said with a smiling face.
"Well, if he does something, tell it to your big sister. She will take care of him",
Josephine said and at that moment I felt like I saw a demon.
'What the hell kind of family it is?', I thought.
As we know entered the ceremony hall, there were people from the branch family speaking and to each other partying.
It was a big hall ; it reminded me of the banquets the martial family used to have.
And then we saw a person take the mic and said to the members,
"ATTENTION!"
