"Fight!",
Lyra announced.
We both then immediately rushed towards each other and attacked.
"THAT!"
It made a lot of sound.
"You are strong, young master.",
Thane said while putting pressure on me with his axe.
"You too.", I replied.
I then put some of the Qi in my sword and countered.
"Is that aura?",
Ellie surprised asked.
"No, it is more ferocious and less defensive than aura",
Lyra said as she continued to squint at me.
"But it can be that it is just the attribute of the aura, no?"
Ellie asked.
"No, even the principal to use it is wholly different from what the kid is doing now.",
Lyra said.
He lost some balance due to the counter-attack, so I immediately used [Five strikes of leaf] and attacked his opening.
"Not so fast!",
"WOOOSH!"
He said as he then proceeded to emit a wave of aura.
I immediately defended myself.
"Let's take it seriously now.",
He said as he rushed towards me at a faster speed.
"Alright then,", I said.
I immediately put Qi in every joint of the body and increased my agility.
I felt the wind get cut upwards and immediately dodged on to my left and used
[Heavenly Demonic 1st blade: Three ferocious fangs]
And attacked the three vital spots on his body – the stomach, the diaphragm and the skull with full force.
He tried to defend it but his axe couldn't hold on the impact force of my technique and shattered into a million pieces and rendered him useless.
As now he was unable to move, I moved the sword near his neck and asked.
"Surrender".
"Hah!", he sighed.
"Yeah, I surrender.",
Thane said as I then helped him stand up.
Everyone was silent.
"What?",
I asked as I was confused.
"Young master, what is your level?",
Ellie asked.
"I am level 2.",
I said with a smile.

Everyone simultaneously gasped.
"What?", I asked.

Ellie stuttered.
I saw everyone was stunned.
"Young master, when did you reached level 2?",
Lyra asked.
I lied after seeing all their stunned faces, "Yesterday night."
"Ohh!",
Even lyra seemed stunned.
"Young master, we withdraw from the fight.", they all suddenly said.
"Why??".
I asked.
"Sir, let me explain it this way.",
Lyra said.
"It takes about six months after awakening to reach level 1 and generally it takes a year to reach level 2. You just did it in a night.",
Lyra explained.
"How?", she asked.
"Dunno, worked hard I guess.", I said and I saw her face contoured in a weird way.
"Ok, if you guys think you are weak. How about I train you?", I asked them.
"Well, I wouldn't mind.", Thane said.

-"yeah, sure."
"Alright then let's do this today you can take a rest and from tomorrow I will train you.", I said.
"Sure", they all agreed.
"Ok, then let's meet tomorrow.", I said as I then walked towards Ellie.
"Ellie can you prepare somethings for me.", I asked.
"Yes master sure.",
Ellie replied and told her somethings to prepare for tomorrow's training.
Then the training ground became empty except Lyra was still here.
"What do you want, Lyra?", I asked.
"Hmm, well I thought you would be lonely here.",
Lyra said.
"What do you truly want?", I asked her again.
"Well, I honestly have nothing to do, so I am wasting my time here.",
She finally said the real reason.
"Hah!", I sighed.
"Ok, I don't care what you are doing, do not disturb me.", I said.
"Ok."
She replied.
After that I opened the book given to me by the family head and opened to the first chapter.
[Introduction to magic.]
'Alright, let's see what it is.', I thought.
Magic or mana was first discovered by a mage names Klatuz. He would gather the essence of energy which he would have high affinity towards and formed his first circle.
At that point, Lyra poked her head through.
"What do you want now?", I asked her again.
"Who gave you this book?",
She asked.
"The family head", I replied.
"Ok, ok, he must really love you then",
She said.
"Why?", I asked.
"Well, it is a very rare book which only a few elder have in the family.",
She said.
"I don't think he loves me then.", I said.
Lyra looked confused and asked.
"Why do you say that?"
I replied, "Cause he just wants to keep the family in a safe hand."
"Alright! Tell me how do I know my affinity.", I asked her.
"Hmm, you don' know?",
She asked.
"No, I don't", I said as I saw her fac turn into a mischievous cat.
"Don't worry young master, I will teach you everything about magic.",
She said as she hit her chest.
"Ok.", I replied.
"Then, start lesson number one.",
She said.
"First, try to use your power and gather your energy in the palm, try it.",
She said.
"Ok.", I replied.
I then tried to replicate the same feeling I got when I tapped into my power.
The feeling of raw sadness, despair, grief.
I felt like I was floating through the ocean with no support and nothing but just me flowing through the ocean.
I then tried to borrow the same power in my right palm.
It felt heavy, hard but I could feel my meridian get stronger and an unknown force revolving around my heart.
I then opened my eyes and saw a dark grayish color liquid ball flowing in my hand.
"So, this is your pure energy, huh?",
She said while she was now looking at it.
"Beautiful!",
"All right, now I will conjure 1-circle spells and throw at it, the one gets consumed are your attribute.",
She said as she started to prepare the 1-circle spell.
"Alright master, the first one I am conjuring is fireball. Try to absorb it with the energy.",
She said and she throwed it at me.
I then immediately used the energy and absorb it.
At first the fire which enter the sphere was trying to boil it but suddenly it got overwhelmed and extinguished.
"So, I guess low-tier affinity for fire.", she said.
Then she threw water at it which just mixed with it, so I had about a mid-tier in water affinity.
Then she threw a rock at it and it just overwhelmed it and broke it, so I had a low-tier in earth affinity.
Then she threw quite a few spells at it and from that conclusion we drew that, I had high-affinity with lightning, ice, shadow and mid-tier affinity at water, wind and low-tier at fire, earth.
"Hmm, very good master, from today I will teach you all of the shadow and lightning spells and assassination technique I know.",
She said with a smile on her face.
