Even separated by a great distance, the intense heat could still be felt at Astera, the scorching air rushing toward them as the flames illuminated both the sky and the land.
At this moment the battlefield was still at sea, massive amounts of seawater were swept up and then evaporated, mixing into the dark clouds brought by Yama Tsukami, instantly condensing again high in the sky, and when they were flung out by the churning gales they were once more heated by the high temperature of the flames.
Thus, when the large raindrops fell on Astera, the hunters who had not yet managed to put on their helmets and armor instantly sucked in a sharp breath.
"Hiss—so hot!!"
They had never imagined that one day they would actually encounter scalding hot rain.
"Put on all your armor! Everyone, pull yourselves together and get ready to attack!"
The Commander silently pulled down the visor piece on his helmet, shutting out the hot rain as he fixed his gaze on the ever-expanding Fire Tornado in the distance; he knew very well that although at this stage it looked as if the end of the world had come, in reality things were still in the probing phase—perhaps neither side was holding back, but the battle had not yet entered a white-hot state.
Logan shuttled through the flames, the membranes over his eyes opening, and the dazzling flames did not affect him at all; Yama Tsukami, whose rotation had been accelerated by the pull of the tornado, was thus burned in this sea of fire formed by the threefold flames.
The high temperature around it made it extremely uncomfortable; those dragonwood and dragon platforms were still fine, because they grew on Yama Tsukami's body and had long been bathed in Yama Tsukami's life energy, giving them an astonishingly exaggerated heat resistance, but the other vines and some flammable shrubs were directly ignited, blazing fires roaring to life on Yama Tsukami's body.
Inside the Fire Tornado, Yama Tsukami sensed that something was wrong and actually forced itself to slow its rotational speed purely by its own physical strength, but those six tentacles were still whipping about fiercely and, relying solely on brute force and speed, they actually formed a dark green isolation belt within the sea of fire.
Along with a burst of black-red gas spraying out from beneath Yama Tsukami's body, under its rotational drive it directly formed a pitch-black sphere.
The surging Dragon-element energy instantly isolated the flames of Logan and the Flame Dragon couple, not only extinguishing the flames on his back but, under Yama Tsukami's drive, even vaguely trying to break through the shackles of the Fire Tornado.
Logan used the sea of fire to block Yama Tsukami's line of sight and several times tried to break through Yama Tsukami's external defenses from various directions, but whether it was the flame breath he spewed or those sharp scales mixed into the tornado, all of them were slapped away by Yama Tsukami's tentacles.
As the controller of the tornado, Logan clearly sensed that Yama Tsukami was relying on absolute brute force to forcibly break free from the restraints of the Fire Tornado; even if Logan once again increased the tornado's rotational speed, it still could not have too great an effect on the Yama Tsukami that was currently wrapped in Dragon-element energy.
Since it could not be trapped, then he would not trap it!
In an instant, Logan made a decision in his heart.
He swiftly detached himself from within the Fire Tornado—Sheer Force activated!

Panic-stricken voices rang out within Astera, and immediately afterward, accompanied by an earsplitting sound, the terrifying shockwave destroyed some of the buildings on Astera that had not yet been completely dismantled; large sections of flooring were lifted up and turned into debris that smashed against the cliff behind.
Along with an angry roar from the Admiral, all the hunters leapt simultaneously into the defensive fortifications, tightly grabbing onto everything that could be used to secure their bodies.
One should say that these hunters were truly "non-human-level" existences; when facing the aftermath of such an explosion impact comparable to a nuclear bomb, some railings and ballistae that had not been completely secured were forcibly ripped out under such a shockwave.
But not a single hunter was injured; although they were somewhat covered in dust and dirt, the moment the impact ended they stood back up, jumped out of the fortifications, and quickly repositioned the equipment that had been shifted by the shock.
The tsunami generated by the explosion ultimately still could not reach the height where Astera was located; the splashing seawater drenched the hunters into a group of drowned chickens.
Ahtal-Ka chirped in displeasure and walked out from beneath a shield formed by several interlocked metal plates; guided by the silk threads, the metal on the shield was instantly dismantled and returned once more to the Annihilator I beside it.
Logan pulled up in altitude, and with a sweep of his wings dispersed the shockwave whose power had already been greatly reduced by the time it reached him.
Shrouded under the massive steam, even with his vision he could not see clearly the current state of Yama Tsukami and could only sense through that still-active life energy that Yama Tsukami had not suffered excessively severe damage under such an attack.
The seawater suddenly exploded open, and the Flame Dragon couple burst out from the water; the flames on their bodies flashed once, instantly evaporating all the seawater.
Before the couple could even catch their breath, a massive black shadow pressed down swiftly from above; the Teostra, with no way to evade, clicked its upper and lower teeth together, the remaining flames beside it instantly extinguished, and a large amount of combustible powder was sprayed out.
Lunastra understood in a second; with a sweep of her wings, the wind pressure instantly lifted the combustible powder and her blue flames upward.
Continuous explosions began sounding from the distance, slowing Yama Tsukami's charge speed.
