Synopsis
In the Aurelian Era, a time intended to unify civilization under the principles of light and balance—merging arcane, divine, and technological power—the reality was quite different. Power, wealth, and status were often gained through bloodshed, eternal wars, manipulation, the abuse of power, and numerous crises. In the Velthuria Continent, within the Wyrmspire Tundra Kingdom, there lived a young orphan boy named Valerius. He was adopted by the Wintermere family, a high-ranking noble family that governed the icy, frozen, and snowy lands of Wyrmspire Tundra. Valerius did not grow up spoiled; rather, he was treated as an outcast by his non-biological siblings, cousins, and the three wives of the Dusk Duke. Despite this harsh treatment, he survived and thrived, gaining recognition from his peers who taught him knowledge, strength, and physical training. However, as Valerius gained fame for his accomplishments, jealousy brewed among his siblings, cousins, and the Dusk Duke's wives. They saw him as a potential rival for the position of successor to the Wintermere family, which led them to conspire against him. During the Month of Snowhearth, also known as the Month of Frost, they issued a false order for Valerius to govern a small village settlement in the northern mountains. They also allowed him to choose his own family name, aiming to ensure that his association with the Wintermere name would vanish. Half of Vale's non-biological family sees him as a threat to become the next successor though that wasn't yet decided, while the other half views him as incompetent. This perception stems from the fact that during his awakening of class jobs as a young teenager, he received a support class type that made most of the family deem his value worthless. Now, he arrives in Wintermere Village with his maid, who has served him loyally for nearly a decade—though one might wonder if her loyalty is genuine. This is where Valerius begins his Build and Construct journey!
