"Chief Ewenie, this here is our Saiyan leader—Bardock!" Kaso said impolitely, pointing at Bardock.
Seeing this, Bardock merely curled his lip in disdain. If he weren't outmatched, Kaso would already be lying flat on the ground.
"Nice to meet you."
Ewenie had already heard from Philiya about the Saiyans being hunted by Frieza's forces, now forced to hole up on Planet Sadala.
But she wasn't too concerned about that.
The moment Kaso brought his people over in an instant, she knew the brat beside her had some sort of mysterious technique. No matter what Frieza did, he'd never catch the Saiyans.
So, there was no need to worry about the safety of the Lolita Clan either.
What's more, Planet Sadala had somehow been restored. Ewenie now had high hopes for the Saiyan race.
"Welcome to the alliance," Bardock said blandly.
Looking at the Lolita Clan, most of them were women, with only a handful of men. No wonder Yuna had said their reproductive capabilities were low.
At first, Bardock had assumed Kaso would just slaughter Yuna and the others. Who would've thought the kid would actually bring back her entire clan?
While this ensured that no news about the Saiyans leaked out, Bardock still couldn't figure out why Kaso would go that far.
Bardock looked toward Kast, who was hiding behind the crowd. "Kast, come here and arrange lodging for our friends from the Lolita Clan."
"C-Coming!" Kast said nervously, glancing at Bardock.
The last time Bardock had given him "personal training," Kast remembered it crystal clear. Ever since then, he couldn't help but tremble when facing him.
Kaso, still holding Ausbi'er in his arms, turned to Philiya and said, "Hey, little lady, get your people settled first, then we'll talk."
"Mm." Philiya gave a faint nod, then led the Lolita Clan to follow Kast.
This group of Saiyans gave her a very plain feeling—totally different from Kaso—but Philiya believed that, in time, things would change.
Once they had all left…
"What are you all standing around for? Planning to stay here till morning?!" Bardock barked at the Saiyans nearby.
"N-No, sir!"
"Move it! Go explain to Lord Bardock yourselves—are you trying to die?!"
Whoosh whoosh whoosh!
In the blink of an eye, the Saiyans all vanished without a trace.
"Uncle Bardock, you know acting like that's why you don't have any friends," Kaso said with a grin.
Bardock might act fierce with the others, but Kaso knew that was just his style of leadership.
And the Saiyans understood this too. That's why they acted so casually around him. Bardock's popularity wasn't without reason.
Bardock shot a glare at Kaso. "What the hell are you up to, kid?"
If not for the fact that he knew Kaso had some prophetic abilities, he might have stopped him from doing all this.
The more people who knew about the Saiyans, the higher the risk of exposure.
Kaso gently shifted the sleeping Ausbi'er in his arms and said, "Uncle Bardock, the Saiyans aren't going to stay on Planet Sadala forever."
"That's true. But what does that have to do with you bringing them back?" Bardock crossed his arms and looked up at the sky.
The starry expanse above—vast and endless—was always enough to pull one's mind away. He was thinking about many things.
The path to vengeance against Frieza would still be a long one.
He let out a sigh. "I know you've got your reasons. Let's hear it."
Still holding the sleeping Ausbi'er, Kaso gently flicked her cute little nose. "For the Saiyans, gravity chambers aren't enough. We also can't do without spaceships and scouters."
Hearing this, Bardock nodded.
He had already noticed that Kaso and Ausbi'er had some kind of strange technique—not only could they hide their power, they could even sense enemies without needing a scouter.
Kaso had even tried to teach this method to the Saiyans, but their brute-force use of energy was so deeply ingrained that they simply couldn't grasp it.
Even Bardock had only scratched the surface. But he knew—if he could master this technique, it would benefit him for life.
"You're right. We Saiyans can't stay holed up here forever. Scouters and spaceships are a necessity."
Though the Saiyans could now survive in outer space, Bardock knew that sooner or later, they would face Frieza again.
Kaso made a solid point.
With that in mind, Bardock gave the boy another look.
How did this kid think so far ahead?
What a little freak.
Looking down at Ausbi'er's peaceful, sleeping face, Kaso couldn't resist planting a kiss on her forehead. "The Lolita Clan's tech is amazing. You'll see in time."
With that, he soared into the sky, holding the little girl in his arms.
...
Time passed quietly. A year went by in the blink of an eye.
Under the hands of the Lolita Clan, Planet Sadala had been transformed into several zones: a Residential Zone, an Ecological Zone, a Training Zone, and a Research Zone.
Everywhere, advanced technology was on display. The environments suitable for Saiyan life had been turned into modern cities, and every now and then, you could see Lolita Clan members cruising around in new-energy vehicles.
Inside a room in the Research Zone, Philiya was staring intently at a capsule.
She turned it over, looked at it from all angles, even pulled out all kinds of instruments to scan it.
But she just couldn't figure it out.
"How can it store things inside?!"
Half a year ago, Kaso had given her a universal capsule. She'd been studying it day and night ever since, but had made zero progress.
Philiya yanked at her icy blue hair, practically fuming with frustration.
"I'm gonna go ask that little brat!" she growled, letting out a deep breath.
She had no other choice.
Exiting the research building, she flared a white aura and shot into the sky!
She flew straight from the Research Zone toward the Training Zone, passing through the Ecological Zone on the way.
The Ecological Zone was a complete, self-contained ecosystem, with plains, forests, oceans, and all kinds of animals.
The Lolita Clan had insisted that Planet Sadala couldn't just have residential and training areas—it also had to preserve some of its original features.
And in that regard, they had done an excellent job.
Soon, Philiya arrived at the Training Zone.
Everywhere she looked, there were black buildings. These gravity chambers could be built easily as long as materials were available, so that wasn't a problem.
What she couldn't understand was the damn capsule.
Clack clack clack!
Philiya landed in front of one of the gravity chambers.
Just then, the chamber's door opened.
A young boy came out, wiping sweat from his face with a towel—only to freeze when he saw the icy beauty standing before him.
"…Huh?"
Kaso blinked. "Hey, little lady, what are you doing here?"
Philiya whipped out the capsule and shook it in front of him, gritting her teeth. "Where did you get this thing?"
"Uh… Don't tell me you're trying to study it?" Kaso frowned.
Judging from how pissed she looked, she'd probably spent quite some time trying to research the capsule.
But come on—this was something developed by Dr. Brief.
And she thought she could figure it out?
This girl… really must've lost her mind!
