Chapter 42 - Chapter 42 Dividing the Spoils

"Arthur!" Mrs. Weasley shouted, calling her husband.

"Merlin's beard, what have you idiots done?!"

Mrs. Weasley shouted as she pulled out her wand: "Accio the broom."

"Whoosh!" A broom with a forked bottom and few bristles flew to Mrs. Weasley's side.

Mrs. Weasley mounted her broom and flew towards the corner where the little rascals were huddled together.

"Fred, George! Give me your sister!"

When the twins saw their enraged mother fly in front of them, her red hair standing on end in the wind, they quickly handed Ginny, whom they were holding protectively, to Mrs. Weasley.

"You bunch of kids, I'll settle the score with you later!"

Mrs. Weasley shouted as she rode her overburdened broom, dodging the now-branched, wildly twisting oak tree.

"Agarth! Do you still have this potion?" George looked at his courtyard, which was now unrecognizable, and then at the oak tree in the yard that had grown countless branches, and asked in a low voice.

Agarth followed George's example, crouching slightly and whispering, "There are still many bottles left. I thought I couldn't waste the hair growth serum ingredients, so I made the rest into plant growth promoters."

"Give it to me first." George glanced at Ron in Fred's arms and whispered in Agarth's ear.

"They're all here, they won't get lost, don't worry." Agarth waved his left hand, gesturing to George.

George paused for a moment, exchanged a glance with Agarth, and said nothing.

'This person is both smart and stupid.'

With the yard in such a mess, Mom will definitely inform Professor Dumbledore. And when Professor Dumbledore arrives, it will be questionable whether you can keep your bracelet.

"Ouch!" George received a loving punch to the head from Agarth.

"Agarth, what's wrong? I haven't even said anything yet!"

"I forgot to tell you, I am skilled in Legilimency,"

Agarth explained expressionlessly.

"What is Legilimency?" Fred pulled Ron closer to George and Agarth.

He discovered that the tree roots beneath his feet seemed to only stop wriggling where Agarth was standing.

Could this tree possibly know that Agarth saved it? And therefore be grateful to Agarth and refrain from bothering him?

"Look at me." Agarth glanced into Fred's eyes.

"George, Fred impersonated you to trick Ron out of his candy."

"The day before yesterday, Fred tore up Percy's book and pretended to be Fred, not George, so that Percy would mistakenly think that he was George. That's why Mrs. Weasley woke you up yesterday morning to make you apologize to Percy."

"And Ron…" Agarth didn't finish his sentence before Fred covered his mouth.

Fred pushed Ron into George's arms, his eyes pleading as he looked at Agarth.

"Merlin's underwear, is this what you call Legilimency?"

"Hehe." Agarth nodded.

"Shut up, Fred, I'll settle this score with you when we get back! Agarth, you better think of something."

George saw the ground begin to rise and fall wildly, and could imagine how astonishingly fast the tree roots underground were growing.

"I don't know either." Agarth scratched the back of his head. He was only thinking about how to make it, and he never expected it to turn out like this.

After all, hair growth products work by making hair grow, so aren't plant growth products the same?

"I think it hasn't grown up yet, which is why it keeps moving around," Agarth nodded affirmatively.

"If we hide further back, it will stop when it grows bigger, right?"

"Ah, Agarth, isn't this big enough?" Ron asked in a trembling voice, pointing his little finger at the giant tree in the courtyard.

In the brief moment of their conversation, the oak tree had grown to tens of meters tall, its thick trunk and several forked branches stretching across the entrance to The Burrow and the courtyard.

This perfectly blocked Agarth and the others' path back to The Burrow.

In addition, the branches that would suddenly grow out of the tree from time to time made it impossible for Mrs. Weasley, who wanted to ride over on a broom, to find Agarth and the others.

"Molly! NO! Come back!" Mr. Weasley gripped his wand and emitted a beam of light that struck a branch that suddenly appeared behind Mrs. Weasley.

"Arthur! Quickly inform Professor Dumbledore!"

Mrs. Weasley flew around, her vision blocked by the dense foliage, and worried that the branches that suddenly appeared from time to time might attack her.

He could only point his wand to his throat and shout, "You four, stay hidden! Don't come out!"

The enraged lioness let out a tearing roar.

At the same time, the four people huddled together in a corner shrank back and covered their ears with their hands in unison.

Not everyone can withstand that loud roar.

At least for now, none of the four Agarth members seem to be up to the task.

"How scary." Agarth signaled at the Weasley brothers.

Although Agarth didn't speak, the three Weasley brothers suddenly suspected that the red-haired boy in front of them might have Weasley blood.

Otherwise, why would they feel like they could understand what the boy meant?

"Um, George," Agarth said softly after a moment's thought.

"Plant growth regulator, do you still want it?"

George and Fred's eyes lit up simultaneously, and they nodded frantically.

'This is such a fun thing, of course I want it, but the commotion it caused this time was quite big.'

"Are you still going to play with this? Mom will be angry!" Ron interrupted.

"Now it's just the three of us plus you. If Mom finds out, it'll be because you told her, Ron. Are you going to tattle?" Fred threatened, hooking his arm around Ron's neck.

Ron's face turned red, but seeing the three red-haired men squinting at him, he could only shake his head in frustration.

"Quick! Before they find us, let's divide the loot!"

Agarth took out two earrings from her bracelet and touched them reluctantly.

"These two are precious treasures, you must take good care of them."

After saying that, he deftly fastened the earrings to the right ears of the twins.

"Quick, George, Fred, feel the earrings and put these things inside them."

As Agarth spoke, he kept taking things out and putting them into the two of them's arms.

As George and Fred packed their things away, they asked, "Agarth, Mom knows we don't wear earrings, it's easy to spot."

"Don't worry, once you put these earrings on, you can't take them off. Besides, just say they're a gift from me to meet you," Agarth said smugly.

If the items you've added to your health are so easily stolen, how can you survive?

Of course, except for the bandit Grindelwald.

"George, Fred, Agarth, don't you think the sky seems to have darkened?"

The men squatting on the ground dividing the loot ignored what Ron said, right now, protecting their treasure was the most important thing.

"Little Ron, how could you be..." It was getting dark.

George looked up.

"My goodness!" Agarth uttered in dialect, looking up at the dense, towering trees.

He's definitely finished this time.
