Chapter 41 - Chapter 41 Agarth is finished

"Agarth, do you think Gnome can still find his family?" Fred asked.

"It probably won't work, it will be a long journey."

George had his left hand on his brother's shoulder, raised his right hand to his eyes to shield them from the glaring sunlight, and watched Gnome "fly away" in the sky.

Agarth's all-out attack not only pushed the Gnome further away from them, but also broke the wooden stick in his hand.

Agarth handed the broken stick to Ron, who was standing there dumbfounded, and then took the stick from Ron's hand and put it in his own.

"Little Ron, I'll help you beat Gnome, you're welcome."

Upon hearing Agarth's voice, Ron looked terrified, quickly took a few steps back, and stammered, "N-no, you're welcome."

Agarth raised an eyebrow. Was this kid afraid of him?

"Agarth, don't scare our little brother."

"Yes, Ron will be terrified."

Hearing his brother say that, Ron's face turned bright red, and he retorted angrily, "I-I wasn't scared! I was just-just nervous!"

Agarth nodded knowingly, gave Ron a thumbs-up, and placed the other Gnome in Ron's arms with his right hand, which was hidden behind his back.

"Well then, it's your turn to throw it to us!" With that, Agarth strode over to the other side and stood there, holding up the stick and waiting for Ron to throw it to him.

Ron caught Gnome and didn't dare let go, but Gnome twisted and howled wildly in his arms.

Hearing the noise, Ron screamed even louder than Gnome.

Shouting "No, no, no!", he forcefully threw Gnome next to Fred, who was closest to him.

"Bang!" The wooden stick struck Gnome's massive forehead precisely, then flew with some speed to George's side on the opposite side.

"Ginny!" George slammed Gnome, who was clearly dazed and whose howling had subsided considerably, at Ginny.

Despite being the youngest, Ginny was incredibly quick and composed, showing no signs of nervousness. Her eyes were fixed on the spherical object in the air as she caught it and knocked it back.

Unfortunately, Ginny was too weak, and the Gnome she knocked back fell to the ground and was dragged back into the burrow by her companions.

Ron was about to show everyone the catching skills he had recently learned from Bill when he rushed over to try to pull Gnome out of the hole, but he was too weak and could only watch helplessly as Gnome crawled back into the hole.

"Ronald, don't waste your energy, look at your skinny arms and legs." George tucked the wooden stick into the back of his collar.

Grabbing Ron by the collar, he made way for the hole and reached inside.

Unfortunately, there was nothing there.

"They ran away, I don't know where they went."

George shrugged at Agarth and Fred.

Gnome is a small animal that loves to wreak havoc on garden plants. It has an extreme fondness for digging up plant roots, as there are so many underground veins that it will dig one hole and then move on to another.

So the Weasleys' little garden always had gnomes that they could never seem to clean up.

Moreover, Gnomes would reappear a few days after being thrown away.

Agarth stroked his chin and looked around the uneven little yard, filled with holes drilled out by Gnomes.

Suddenly, he thought of a way to drive Gnomes out of the cave.

"Fred, George, I have a way to help you find all the Gnomes. Want to play?"

"What method?"

"Of course, we love playing this game the most."

The twins each finished Agarth's sentence with a line.

Agarth grinned, showing his teeth.

He took a sapling from the bracelet on his left hand and stuck it into a hole.

"What kind of tree is this?" Ginny reached out and touched the withered sapling.

He had never seen a sapling with such a huge trunk but no leaves.

"This is an oak sapling, it was dying, so I took it in." Agarth pointed to the ground, covering the sapling's roots with the cracked soil around it.

"Hehe, let's try it out this time and see if my new invention works well, hehe." Agarth chuckled lewdly as he buried the soil.

Such opportunities to do things yourself are rare. He wanted to plant flowers near Nurmengard, but Grindelwald and Vinda were unwilling. The day after they were planted, Kaka pulled them all out.

'I really feel sorry for the man-eating flower seedlings that I worked so hard to develop.'

'Honestly, they have such no taste.' ( a/n. Agarth, its because of you)

Seeing Agarth busy at work, George and the others squatted down around the saplings and slowly covered the roots of the oak saplings with soil.

"You still haven't told us what you're going to do."

"Have you ever been to the Muggle world?"

Agarth asked instead of answering their question.

"No, Mom and Dad think Muggles are dangerous. They think they'll hurt us once they find out we're special," Ginny answered obediently.

"There are some Muggles living in the village. We met them before when we were riding brooms, but they treated us like monsters."

Fred looked dejected when this was mentioned.

He and George just wanted to play with the Muggle kids, but they were treated like monsters and pelted with stones. From then on, their mother never allowed them to go near the Muggle village again.

"It's alright, I'm from the Muggle world too. I'll take you out to play sometime." Agarth saw their disappointed expressions and comforted them.

"This is an oak sapling. In the Muggle world, an oak tree is a tree with extensive root systems that can grow several meters deep into the ground."

Agarth stomped on the soil a few times, trying to stabilize the sapling.

"Look!" The group looked at a potion bottle in Agarth's hand, not quite understanding what it was.

Agarth proudly puffed out his chest. "Have you heard of hair growth potions? This is my improved plant growth agent. Anyway, its effects should be similar to hair growth potions."

At this point, Agarth poured the entire bottle of medicine directly into the roots of the sapling. (I repeat full whole bottle, its quite big bottle)

"Since the principle of hair growth products is to grow hair, then isn't the hair of a plant just its root system? So it's probably not..."

Before Agarth could finish speaking, the sapling, which had absorbed the potion, began to shake violently. In less than ten seconds, a loud rumbling sound came from the ground.

The saplings began to grow taller and taller, and leaves sprouted from the trunks that had previously been bare.

As the saplings grew, the group saw ugly heads popping out of the previously pitted holes.

"Gnome!" Ron exclaimed, pointing at the heads.

"They really escaped! Agarth, you're amazing!"

George ran forward, picked up one Gnome after another by the ankle, spun them around a few times, and threw them out.

Before long, the holes that had filled the entire yard were filled with the roots of the oak saplings, and no more Gnome trees were seen emerging.

"Agarth! Agarth! How come it's getting bigger and bigger!" Ginny was the first to notice that the oak sapling was getting bigger and bigger, and she patted Agarth's trouser leg as she asked.

Mrs. Weasley, who was preparing lunch in the kitchen, felt the ground shaking violently and heard strange noises coming from underground.

After drying he hands and going outside, she saw that her originally uneven yard was now completely filled with a tree that seemed to be growing bigger and bigger.

Meanwhile, her own children huddled together in a corner, with Ron's screams occasionally escaping from their sides.

"What have you done?!" Mrs. Weasley's roar echoed through the sky.

"That's it," Agarth said, hanging his head and hiding behind the twins.
