Zai couldn't help as he looked at the screen dangling in front of his eyes in both amazement and confusion. Never in his life as an immortal has he ever heard of something like this, making him to wonder what exactly was happening.
"Have I... Really been reborn?" He muttered with a single tear of joy dropping from his eyes.
It was ultimately impossible. Reincarnation was just for the gods, not immortals, and yet, here he was.
But just as he spoke those words,

A thunderous slap across his rough cheeks send him crushing on the floor with blood streaming from the side of his lips.
Being the man he used to be, Zai quickly got to his feet and retaliated with an attack of his own. He lifted his right leg and performed a front kick, hitting the man square on the chest and sending him crushing on a throne-like sit behind him.

"How could he?"
"Huh! That's awesome."
"Oh no! His father is gonna skin him alive!"
He suddenly heard countless murmurs acrose the hall.
Looking around, Zai found himself standing in the middle of what seemed to be a throne hall, or something close to that.
Around him were various people of various age with different weapons around them.
In front of him stood two ladies, one seemed to be on her late 30s, and another one seemed to be around 19 years old.
Next to them was a young boy of sixteen years dressed in a perfect robes, like a prince. And Zai could certainly read one thing in their faces, and everyone's else in the hall; a surprised expression, as if they didn't expect him to make such a move.
"How could you?" The older lady muttered while rushing towards him and raised her hand to slap Zai.
But Zai quickly caught her hand and retaliated with a slap of his own that send the lady stumbling back.
"Ahhh! Did you see it?"
"He did it again..."
"Oh my, he is really dead."
"I'm really enjoying this."

More murmurs erupted inside the hall.
"What's going on?" Zai muttered to himself while looking around. He had just hit some random strangers and yet people around him were acting as if he had committed a treason.
He just couldn't make a piece of it, and that's when it struck him. Reincarnation!
"Shit! Have I really hit the king and queen?" Zai muttered while bitting his knuckles.
That's the only thing that made sense to him. Those standing in front of him were dressed in some fine robes, and looking at his clothing, he was just nothing more than a begger in the streets.
"What's really going on?" He muttered with an awkward smile over his face.

But then, he couldn't help as his lips curved into a smile after reading the first line of the text. He couldn't tell if it was fate, luck, or some tricks, as the system had actually displayed his original birth names.
With the knowledge he had, this only meant that the previous owner of this body either had the same names as his, or he didn't have a name at all, which was kind of next to impossible since even a nickname would count as a name.
Either way, he didn't let his mind wonder about this much as there were some more texts displaying below.

This part was a bit strange to Zai as he didn't make peace with it. If the system meant what it stated, then it meant that Zai needed to scare people off for him to receive a terror point for trading.
It made him wonder what the shop could really offer, and he couldn't wait to unlock it.

"Could this be it? Could this be the rank above all?" He muttered with a heavy gulp.
A cultivation root is something that all cultivators, both mortals and immortals, dream to have. But unfortunately, not all mortals posses a cultivation root.
A cultivation root rank determines the type of cultivation a one might cultivate, that's why some would only cultivate an aura, while others cultivating an elemental attributes.
Of course those cultivating an elemental attribute would always be stronger than those cultivating an aura. Like let's say, you can't expect an intermediate martial ranked person cultivating an aura to defeat another intermediate martial ranked person cultivating an elemental attribute.
Elements would always best an aura.
The commonly known cultivation root ranks are ordinary, rare and legendary.
Being a mortal and having an ordinary cultivation root rank, one can enter the immortals cultivation sect to cultivate, but would only cultivate as an outer disciple because they are not guaranteed to become immortals.
But then, this would be a total blessing that everyone wishes to grasp, as even cultivating at the immortal sect, with the resources they have, one is destined of greatness.
Having a rare cultivation root rank would allow one to enter the immortals cultivation sect and train as an inner disciples since they are guaranteed to become immortals.
But now, possessing a legendary cultivation root rank, that's everyone desires as one is not only destined to be an immortal, but to be a god.
But, just like how a mortal with a rare cultivation root rank could only cultivate as an outer disciple, those who are born as immortals with an ordinary cultivation root rank could only cultivate an aura. And to mortals, those with no cultivation root could also only cultivate an aura.
But that's not the whole of it, there have been rumors, a rank above all that guarantees ultimate greatness.
"Huh!" Zai chuckled with a smile.
He might have lost what he thought was something legendary, but he might now be possessing something far advanced.

After going through the system and learning everything that he possibly could, Zai had to just think about closing the system and it did disappear from his sight, and when he thought of opening the system again, a dark black background computerized screen with a crimson writings would suddenly display in front of him.
"Huh!" Zia chuckled full of bitterness. "So I can finally contact my vengeance?" He spoke with a mixed expression painted over his face. "Emperor Ken, Empress Emma, you wait for me! I'll be their very soon." Zai muttered with a murderous intent flushing in his eyes.
But then, he knew he had a long way to go before his essence allows him to enter into the immortal realm. He was too weak, with zero qi, and not even martial ranked.
He knew he had to cultivate, he knew he had to train this body to become an immortal again and enter the immortal realm, and thus he turned around and started walking out of the hall.
"I don't know what's going on here and staying might only escalate the situation further. I'll head out to cultivate and come back when the memory restoration has completed." He thought while walking way.
"Where do you think you are going!?" The man shouted. "Stop him now?" He commanded the two guards standing by the doorway.
"I dare you!" Zai muttered to them with his eyes flushing, full of murderous intent, forcing the guards to gulp heavily when their eyes met.
