The instant Rain's words dropped, a figure flashed at an incredible speed making it impossible for Rain to see what it was.
Then the figure dropped before him, with a knee on the floor while bowing.
"Young master," The figure greeted making Rain frown.
"You are?" Rain asked tentatively, his guard not dropping for even a second.
"It's me, Chen," The figure replied raising his head to look at Rain.
Immediately Rain saw the face, and another wave of information flowed into his head.
Chen was one of Rain's father's bodyguards. He was the most loyal and also the strongest among them.
Rain had no idea what his realm was. When Rain's father was sending him to the Mortal Realm, he had sent Chen alongside him to protect him.
Chen had always stayed silently by his side without making any trouble. And because Chen was an outsider, he was not allowed into the sect, so he could only hang around to wait for Rain.
"I was worried about you, Young master," Chen broke the silence, his eyes a bit teary as he stared at Rain.
"You've not stepped out of this gate for over three years, I was worried and almost sneaked into the sect," Chen continued, sounding like a child who had found something precious.
"It's alright, I'm fine, you can get up," Rain hurriedly waved his hand, feeling rather uncomfortable.
The original owner of this body had a deep respect for Chen and it was also deep rooted making Rain feel uncomfortable.
He didn't know why, but this body seemed to have a lot of morals it strictly believed and stood firmly on.
"I'm going to get some herbs, I'll be taking my leave," Rain continued, preparing to leave.
"Young master, please wait," Chen quickly stopped Rain who was about to leave.
"Here," He said, pulling out two sacks of gold coins and handing them over to Rain.
"Thank you," Rain quickly accepted the bags and left while Chen watched.
He had been worried the money on him wouldn't be enough to get all that he needed. But now, there was no need for that. He could get all he needed.
Chen watched as Rain's figure disappeared into the distance. If Rain hadn't come out today, he was planning to sneak into the sect to see if he was still alive.
If anything had happened to Rain, he would have leveled the sect to the floor. With his strength, no one in the Mortal realm would be his opponent.
"Seems like the young master has become more mature," He chuckled lightly. He was also not expecting Rain to break through. All he wanted was for the latter to live a peaceful life, away from his conspiring family.
After a while, Chen shook his head and his figure flashed following Rain. Even though Rain was not going to let him follow him openly, he would still protect him from the dark.
Soon, he caught up with Rain who had already stopped at a shop selling herbs.
"Huh?" Chen froze all of a sudden seeing Rain look towards him.
"Could he have discovered me?" Chen muttered panickedly. Even a Golden Core Realm expert wouldn't be able to notice him, but here he was with Rain staring directly at him as though he could see him.
This had not to be true, there was no way Rain could see him. He didn't believe it.
Rain on the other hand turned around and smiled. He already knew Chen was following him and could pinpoint exactly where he was.
If he wasn't able to do something as basic as this, there was no need to call himself an expert who was once feared. All these little tricks were nothing in his eyes.
Turning around, he stared at the shopkeeper, a middle-aged man who was greeting him politely.
Wearing the badge of the Glory Dome Sect, he would be respected and feared. The sect was a local power in the area, so everyone respected all the disciples, even if they were just outer sect disciples.
"Give me five pounds of Licorice Root, four pounds of Cinnamon Bark, five pounds of Schisandra Berry, two pounds of Eucommia Bark, three pounds of Reishi Mushroom, and also one pound of Chrysanthemum." Rain stated all that he wanted,
"Better still, make the Cinnamon Bark two pounds," Rain stated once again and the shopkeeper nodded in compliance with what he wanted.
Soon, all the herbs were packed and were placed into a bag, and then the shopkeeper handed it to Rain.
"How much is everything?" Rain inquired, taking the sack from the man.
"Two thousand gold coins," The shopkeeper answered honestly.
Someone from the Glory Dome Sect? They didn't dare to overcharge them, or else they could have their store destroyed.
"Here," Rain pulled out one of the gold sacks Chen had given to him to the Shopkeeper then turned around to leave.
He should be able to use this for about a month or so. Also at most, he would be able to break through to the Late Stage of the Foundation Establishment Realm.
As for Feng, there was no need to worry about him. Even if he was at the late stage of the Core Spirit Realm, he would still be able to fight him.
All that was needed was to cultivate diligently for the whole month and remove the risk of being expelled from the Sect.
Though Ling promised that as long as he was able to break through to the late stage of the Qi Gathering Realm, she would beg her master to let him stay in the sect.
He wasn't going to rely on such a favor. Besides, he wasn't planning on wasting all his life, toiling around in a low-level sect like this.
Even in the mortal Realm, The Glory Dome Sect was just a third-rate sect. Though amongst the third-rate sect, it was one of the strongest, but in Rain's eyes, it was extremely weak, so he wasn't going to stay.
"Hey stop there!" An arrogant voice sounded just as Rain was about to leave the vicinity.
