Chapter 6 - Exiting The Sect In Three Years

Staring at the materials inside the pouch, Rain chuckled lightly. It was just as he had expected.

The herbs inside were rare herbs that cost a lot of money. Even buying it with points would take a lot of points.

But here it was, lying in his hands as though it were worthless.

Ling must have spent a lot to get all of this for him. He wondered what price she must have paid to get it.

Thinking about this, a new wave of determination flashed in Rain's eyes. There was no way he could let her down again.

"Let's see what's really wrong with this body," Rain muttered, still not wanting to believe the body he had taken over was trash and that the murky meridians were not a result of some external factors.

Thirty minutes later, Rain's eyes flashed open still not believing what he had seen.

He had checked this body thoroughly, but he couldn't find anything wrong with it.

There was no interference or anything. In fact, this body's meridians were wider than what were supposed to be, which would mean quicker Cultivation speed.

But, then with the nonsense Cultivation method he was cultivating in the past, it caused the meridians to clog and become murky.

But that shouldn't be the case, right? Even if the meridians were clogged, Rain would take the herbs brought over by Ling every month. This was enough to clear out the meridians.

Instead, they became worse over time.

"What could have gone wrong?" Rain mused, trying to find the cause of everything.

He wanted to find the case of this first before moving to solve the problem.

He knew a lot of ways to clear a clogged meridian, but at the same time, even if he were to do that, with the nature of the meridians, it was sure to become clogged again.

"Let's see again," Rain muttered, still not giving up, refusing he couldn't find the reason.

He had seen a lot of body constitutions in his past life. Yet, he was not able to see through this brat. This caused him a lot of headaches as he couldn't do anything without it

After a while, Rain still couldn't find out what exactly was wrong. At this point, he could only sigh in defeat.

"Forget it, I'll just clear it out each time it happens," He shook his head, preparing to head out of his room.

But just as he was about to move, Rain suddenly paused remembering something.

Instantly, he sat back and began to check the body once again, this time he was extremely serious.

"Hehehehe, I didn't expect to find what I've been looking for right here in this mortal realm!" Rain burst out into laughter, a satisfied expression written all over his face.

This body constitution was just exactly what he had been looking for, a thousand years ago.

The supreme-grade Heaven Cultivation technique he had found was finally going to be cultivated.

Whoever had created that technique was definitely a genius but at the same time a masochist.

The rules of cultivating that technique were extremely harsh, and so the body constitution required it.

It was no wonder Rain was seen as trash. This was because no matter what technique he cultivated, as long as it wasn't that Supreme Grade technique, it would be almost useless to him.

"Didn't expect to find such a gem in the mortal realm," Rain grinned once again, feeling rather satisfied.

"Now that I know exactly what's wrong, we can begin the rise to the top once again," Rain smirked, walking back towards the drawer.

At the moment, he had a renewed confidence and was sure this time, he would be able to beat the Heavenly Emperor.

At most, in about three thousand years, he should have cultivated to the level where he would be able to match him.

But first, he still needed to deal with this mundane stuff. The first was preventing himself from getting cast out of the sect.

Then getting Ling to become his dual Cultivation partner.

Thinking about this, Rain grabbed the coins and walked out of the room.

Stepping out of the room, he was hit by the low ray of the setting sun in the distance.

"Let's go get the materials first," Rain muttered as he stared at the gold coins in his pocket hoping it was going to be enough.

Though all that he needed were just common herbs, since Ling happened to give him the rare ones he needed, they were still a lot and he hoped he would be able to get them.

Walking toward the exit of the sect, Rain sighed and shook his head.

It had been almost three years since he last walked out of the sect.

The sect was like a protective barrier to him. Ever since he heard of the dispute between the Glory Dome Sect and a rival sect where the rival sect disciples were killing the Glory Dome Sect disciple and the Glory Dome Sect disciples also did the same in retaliation, he decided never to leave the sect again.

He was just a mere middle-stage Qi Gathering Cultivator. No one would give a fuck even if he were to die, so there was no need to try.

Stepping out of the sect's huge gate. Rain was met with the bustling market from the distance.

The loud voices of the traders haggling over prices brought him a little bit of joy.

Seeing this large number of people and such a bustling place made Rain smile.

He had been in the abyss for over a thousand years in the past, so this felt good to him.

Shaking his head, Rain pushed the thoughts to the back of his mind, then stepped forward preparing to go get what he needed when his expression suddenly changed.

"Who's there? Reveal yourself now!" Rain commanded, his voice hoarse and cold as he took a fighting stance and also stood at an angle where it wouldn't be easy for the person observing him to attack.
