Chapter 10 - Hell Land :

Oh, shit, this was my reaction when I heard the response from the messenger.

"What do you want to do now, my lord?" Kim said while laughing slowly at my reaction.

"I'm thinking of going there myself," I replied.

"Are you sure, sir? The place is dangerous. The continent is not fully explored, and information about it is very limited," he said with concern on his face.

"No problem, I'll be the first to discover it. Just gather an army of elite fighters, around 1000, and whoever will replace me during my absence will be you," I said as I looked at him.

"Okay, sir, although I am still afraid of the risks of going to that place, I will trust you. You know better than I," he said as he left.

Then I went to the blogger and asked him about everything he knew about that place, and his answer was simple, "As that continent is a semi-frozen, snowy continent. This is only for the discovered part that was discovered by that crazy man. As for the rest of the parts, no one knows about their nature, terrain, or anything. Going there is a risk, like going for a while in a maze, and you don't know if it contains an exit."

His words were a little scary, but not more scary than I am. I have started preparing everything. In two days, we will set off using a ship.

Two days passed, and now we are leaving the coast. Everything was secret. We don't want any trouble or anyone to know what happened. Only those in the palace know.

Everything was perfect at first: the sun was sunny, the weather didn't seem cloudy, the wind was light, everything was perfect, but suddenly, after about a period, the weather started to change the sky was cloudy, the weather was gloomy, the waves were unbalanced, the fog was blocking the view; the weather alone is capable of terrifying you.

On the ship, I met a man named Rocky, a mercenary who carried out assassinations for the wealthy and powerful, just to provide a living for his sick mother, wife, and children. He really affected me because he represented me, a person who would do anything for his family.

Suddenly, the wind picked up, and the waves were so strong they caused a rip in the ship. Still, luckily for you, we were almost there. The frozen, foggy Lisbon was clear to us, but a wave hit us and split the ship in half, which made us swim the remaining distance in that cold water, and when we arrived, we discovered that we had lost three men. We lost all our supplies and our means of return. What an encouraging start.

We started walking there; the fog was thick, and it was hard to see. I was one of those walking in the front rows, but suddenly screaming started to be heard in the back. All the men were confused, especially when they saw blood; it was difficult a large number of men, in addition to the fog, the soldiers and the bitter cold, it would be difficult to confront any enemy in these conditions.

So I had an idea. We divided ourselves into groups so that it would be easier to move around and also to speed up the pace of exploration. We divided ourselves into 10 teams, each team consisting approximately of 100 men, one of whom led them.

Each group has a leader named after it. If any group finds any life form, it should search for the other groups.

Every group went in a different direction, and my group contained a group of knights. We continued walking through that fog—it was hard; did it never end? We walked for days; we walked, then we rested. I don't feel good; it's really hard. Despite our miserable condition, we met a flock of gray wolves; they looked hungry and ready to hunt. First, they started attacking cautiously; they killed three men; it was not ordinary wolves, it was more powerful. Every time they attack we were We were repelling them, but this was only Our strength is draining; our limbs are starting to freeze, it seems impossible to get out of this hell.

We decided to kill them; we all stuck of us; we made a big circle, everyone watching each other's backs. They started attacking hard; this time, they snatched two men's heads like a piece of cake.

I was terrified at that moment like all the other men, but I held my nerve. Me and another 5 men, we were calm, waiting for the right moment to attack. Abruptly, one wolf jumped on me, trying to snatch my head; I attacked him with the sword and hit him in the eye. He retreated and then repeated the attack; in the same moment, when he was in air, I stabbed him in the head. Despite this, he continued moving until a man comes and sliced him a half; when his body fall, his hearts exposed, his heart color was black.

The remaining men finished off the rest of the herd. They fought hard, but in the end, they were able to overcome them. Some of the men were wounded, but despite that, we won.

We continued on our way immediately after that without any rest, because if we stayed here we would just die from the harsh conditions.

After a while, the fog finally began to dissipate, and my vision became clearer. One of the knights approached me and whispered in my ear: "We need to take a rest in the same moment as we get out of here, the men are not feeling good," he said, walking beside me.

"I know, me too—I am really tired. I wish if I did not come here, but we don't have a choice; we came, we need to come back alive," I said, my lips barely moving.

Then I looked in front of me to see trees; we rushed a little bit until we We came out of the fog. The spaces in front of us were trees covered with snow. We continued walking, looking for any suitable place to stay. We did not know night from day when we were in the fog. We do not know how many days we spent there. After a period of searching, one of the men found a place that looked like a cave located under a hill. We brought wood after cutting some wood. As for the other men, they went to hunt something for us to eat. Men who were charged with bringing firewood to light the fire while we waited for the others to come. I was just resting. I was not able to do anything. After a while, the men charged with hunting came back with 4 big cazzele. We roasted them and ate them. It was weird eating venison for the first time, but I ate it anyway. Then, to recover our strength, we slept immediately. I woke up in the morning to this sound the screaming of men who were wounded in the battle against the wolves; they were screaming and holding their hearts, screaming and saying, "something that squeezed my heart, my heart will explode." I tried to calm things down, but they were screaming and squeezing from the intensity of the pain; I did not know what to do. Their eyes started to turn, the veins started to protrude in all of their bodies; the remaining men were watching, they didn't know what to worry about, what was happening. Suddenly those strange symptoms stopped, but what was stranger was that the color of the men's eyes changed; they all got purple eyes, their wounds healed; I think they all became a deroloc.
