I was confused. Is this a dream or what!. I thought.
''What!. What the hell is happening here?. David!''I yelled.
But he looked at me, and immediately changed his mood. Sarah on the other hand, fixed her gaze at me.
''Why are you yelling like an illiterate?. Haven't you seen two people kissing before?''She asked me, and quickly maintained her peace and recent position. I previously found her with David.
I was very mad at them. Why would Sarah of all people do this kind of thing against me?. My cousin for that matter.
''Wait a minute!. Didn't you know that I am married to him or what?''I asked her. I just wanted to assume that she didn't know. Although, I know that she knew.
''Married?''She asked me, sounding like it was a joke. Her facial expression says it all.
''Hey listen''David came into the matter. He pointed his hands at me, shaking it, as a sign of him warning me.
''You and I were never married''He said.
''What!. How dare you!''I blowed up. It was like sacrilege to me, hearing this.
''I can't just believe that you are a fool. So all these while, you were unable to read the handwriting on the wall?. Upon all that I have done to you, you still don't know that our marriage has been faked all this while?''David asked. He turned to Sarah, and kissed her on the lips again.
My heart started to boil. I don't know what he was even saying. Tension was seen all over me. I tried not to believe. But then, my instincts keep advising me to believe, for my own good.
''The both of us were never married. The truth is that I was done with you a long time ago. I only got married to you, just to be able to get a million dollar contract from my boss. This particular event happened and got successful just two years ago and ever since I got what I wanted, I no longer see or count you as a human being before me''David informed.
I quickly rushed to him, trying to hit him on the head. But he easily grabbed my hands, and threw me on the sofa.
''It's not by force to marry. I am done with you. So, please leave here, and stop causing more havoc in my life''He expressed.
I quickly stood up to challenge him. Although, I was emotionally hurt and defeated.
''How dare you, bastard!. Why would you do this against me?. What on Earth have I done to you?''I asked, seeing lots of tears rolling out of my eyes.
''I have been the best wife for you. I have sacrificed my peace and happiness, just to see that our marriage works. So, what can you say that I actually did to you?''I asked. I yelled. I shed tears. But in the midst of these, he didn't respond to me. He fixed his eyes on Sarah, as if he was admiring her. Srah on the other hand, strolled her eyes on me, and smiled. She looked at me maliciously and intimidatingly from head to toes, and kept smiling.
She held David at his waist tightly, and kissed him dearly. They were very raw. Meanwhile, I became more confused and frustrated, not knowing what else to do. At this stage, I started to wish that everything should just be nothing but a dream. A dream is what I wished for, right now.
I closed my eyes, and opened them within a few seconds. I still found out that it was reality. The two devils turned looking at me, and wondering what I was upto.
''I know that you are never a lover of progress, peace and happiness. My mind is currently telling me that you are about to cast a spell on us. But listen, before you become successful in your evils, I would have to first kick you out''David roared gently.
I immediately lost my peace. I have never been so heart broken like this before. I have seen and heard people talking about the pains of a broken relationship. Especially one, where trust was maligned. I have never felt or experienced it before. However, today could be the first time I would be experiencing such.
As I looked up, the shocking realities of a wicked world and life, suddenly dawned on me. I looked once again at Sarah, and my anger grew hotter than it was.
''Honey''She called, while posing her face at David.
''Chase this bitch out''Sarah said.
''Is that actually necessary?. I don't think there would be any need for such. But if you wished for me to act this way, who am I to question your will?''David responded.
They observed a few seconds of silence. They still fixed their eyes on me.
''I am not just comfortable with her presence. But what do you think?''Sarah said, asking him.
''I wanted her to witness this herself, so that it won't look as if I am joking or not being serious, when I previously told her to pack out from my building. Although, if she remains here, she would be the one to eventually run out of this mansion, by herself''David responded.
''I don't want to see her here again. Just kick her out please''Sarah demanded.
I was bittered. So, he was actually serious, when he told me to pack out from his house and life.
I turned my head, looking for something I could just use to attack them with. I ran into the bedroom, and came out holding a knife. But before I could reach where both of them were, someone from behind me hit my head with an unknown object. Everywhere became dark and silent.
Later on, I opened my eyes. All the bad and painful memories of David once again, strolled into my memory. My imaginations were now wild. It came with different inspiring packages of how to deal mercilessly with him. But then, something struck my senses. I turned, and saw a young man sitting next to where I was lying. Oh! I was even lying. I turned my neck, and saw that I was in a hospital.
