It has been 2 hours since Zack had woken up in this world.
And right now, in some place within this seemingly endless sea of trees, stood Zack himself, who used the 'common sense' knowledge left by God, to look at the sun within the sky, and used the very sun itself, to tell him that he has around nine years of sunlight left.
Zack has no clue, if nine hours were enough time look for a shelter, and a source of water.
Even so, Zack still has no choice but to wander aimlessly around with all sorts of eatable plants and mushrooms in his arms, while having a look out for any source of water as well a shelter if he wanted to survive in this new life of his.
Fortunately enough, it wasn't for long before Zack stopped wondering, when he by chance noticed something ahead, something that is blue, not the sky that lies behind, but a different shade of blue then the sky itself.
While being confused what this new blue thing was at first, but thanks to the 'common sense' within Zack's mind, he soon realized the very blue thing that lies ahead of him, were a lake, in other words the very source of water that he needs for his survival.
This brought a bright smile on Zack's lips while his green eyes brighten with excitement, and almost rushed towards the lake, however, Zack soon came to a halt, when he almost thrown all of the foraged food within his arms in the air, due to him rushing ahead.
When Zack came to the lake, he was soon taken back how beautiful it looked, it was different to the clear sky, and the forest that brings many different colours and things around him.
The lake before Zack has a kind of beauty, that reflects it surroundings to its surfaces, to which made it as breathtaking as the sky and the forest when he first seen them.
Snapping his attention away from the lake, knowing this is not the time to be amazed by the lake itself, Zack can do all that later on.
With the sun still within the sky, Zack who now has food and now a source of water, needed a shelter, ideally somewhere to set camp near this lake.
However, when Zack looked around the lake, to found such an ideal place to make a shelter, Zack's green eyes widen when he spotted something near the lake itself.
Because there lies something that took out, something that made of wood, lies before Zack very eyes, stood a hut, a wooden hut by the side of the lake, stood within Zack's green eyes.
While Zack has no clue what a hut is, but he can instinctively feel it, he can feel this wooden box like thing before him, must be the shelter thing he needed to either make or found.
The hut itself, looked old, like it has been over 50 years since it has been built. And next to the hut, lies a garden, but the garden itself is in ruins, filled with overgrown plant life.
But that wasn't much of a problem for Zack.
After all, along with all sorts of survival information rammed in his empty mind, there also information how to farm and forage itself.
This meant, the garden itself, can be recovered and made into a garden he can use later on.
Like a moth to fire, Zack walked towards and into the hut with wonder and excitement, as Zack looked around the hut.
The hut itself is almost empty if it wasn't for the old looking bed, the two chairs, as well the table where those wooden chairs stand next to it, and between the table and the bed, was a bookshelf, that has dust besides books filled onto the shelves instead.
No matter how one looked at this hut, it has been a long time since anyone lived here, especially so, how dusty the hut is.
Of course, our clueless protagonist did not have such an insight to noticed this.
Instead of anything, Zack smiled and became amazed by the sight of the inside of the hut, admiring what lies before his eyes, like a innocent child he mentally is, before he walked towards the only table in this place.
When Zack came to the table. He used his elbows to wipe away the dust from the surface, only to place all the food he had foraged on his way here onto the table itself.
While placing all the foraged food on the table, Zack's eyes blink when he noticed something lies besides the table, hidden by one of the four table legs, and that something was a flask.
Zack blinks his eyes at the flask, he knew what it is, since it also was inside his common sense. He knew with this flask by itself, can increased his survival in this forest by severalfold.
That is why, with a bright smile on his lips, and grabbed the flask, and went outside of the hut.
Once outside the hut, Zack went next to the lake, and placed the flask on the ground, leaving it behind for some reason.
But he wasn't gone for long, he soon returned by the lakeside, by the place he left the flask at.
However, he did not return empty handed, because within his arms, were dry stones in them.
It was questionable why Zack has returned with stones in his arms, but Zack did not stay by the lake long, as he once again went somewhere else after he placed the stones next to the flask, only to returned once again, with his arms now full not with stones again, but tree branches, that were placed next to the flask and the stones on the ground besides the lake.
"What is next… right, make a hole that is 2 or 3 meters away from the source of water, the hole… has to be between 2 to 3 feet deep, and 1 to 2 feet wide… how do I dig? With my hands?" Zack went, as he clearly is reading something from this 'common sense' that God has given him.
As in what this is, it is unclear what that is. However, all of his actions so far, had a purpose in them.
Zack looked at the ground, a little away from the pile of stones and branches, but also few meters away from the lake.
He then went onto his knees and think of how to dig this hole he has to make.
Should he use his hands?
Or maybe a pointy stone will help him?
Zack pondered what to do, until an idea came to him, the idea to use his Magic, his Quake-Quake Magic to dig a hole for him.
With a smile on his face, Zack placed his hands onto the place he wanted the hole to be and then focused onto the pitiful amount of Magic Power he has within him.
And just like that, for the first time in this world and life, Zack used the Magic that has been altered and given by God, the very Magic system that has been altered from a Devil Fruit, that is feared having the very capability to destroy even worlds.
The power of Quake-Quake Magic, Zack's unique Magic, that has the ability to both create and control vibrations themselves.
Zack activated his Quake-Quake Magic and grabbed a hold of the very ground under his hands.
When he did, the ground begin to vibrate, the lake near Zack slightly moved, affected by the vibrations created and controlled by his very Magic.
And just like that, while the ground vibrates, and the lake slight shakes from the vibrations, before Zack's hands, small spider web like blue cracks appeared onto the ground under Zack hands.
From the moment the blue cracks appeared, the ground itself ripped apart, shattered and crushed under a vibrating force, that shattered anything under his hand.
(AN: Whitebeard use of Gekishin / Severe Earthquake, but on a very smaller level. It will be called by something else in this fanfic, since MC wouldn't know who Whitebeard is.)
Before Zack could understand or see what he has done. He almost fell onto the ground, as he began to breath heavily, showing how pitiful his Magic Power reserves were.
It wasn't just his reserves in Magic Power that was poor, even his mastery and control over his Quake-Quake Magic was as pitiful as his Magic Power reserves.
Not to mention, it wasn't just the control over his Magic, but also Magic Power control was as abyssal as the rest of his current stats of his body.
It makes one wonder, why does Zack have such low specs when his body was created by a God of all things.
Maybe it was a mistake?
Or maybe it was intentional to be made this poorly, a meaning behind all of this.
But a shame, as clueless as Zack is, has no doubts or questions about his body made by God. And just brightly smiled at the 2 feet wide and 3 feet deep shattered ground before him.
Looking at the hole that still not technically a hole, since it still has the leftover of the ground still lying within the hole.
Zack did not right away remove the destroyed earth from within the hole he has created. Instead, Zack rest for a little while, recovering enough Magic Power as well stamina, so he could move properly again.
And when he did halfway recover his spent Magic Power, Zack began to remove the wasted earth from the hole, making the hole itself hollow with nothing filled within it.
When Zack was halfway removing the wasted ground from the hole, Zack thinks back to his Quake-Quake Magic.
Although Zack has no clue what is a Devil Fruit is.
He does know the true power of his Magic, Quake-Quake Magic is the power to control and create vibrations themselves, but by touch at that.
Zack knew from the moment he activated the Quake-Quake Magic; he felt different, he felt… very in tuned with his Magic itself, making him in a sense, a vibrating or a tremoring human being.
This made Zack curious, if the power he just shown was at the level, that can't even be called the basic level of this Magic he holds.
How powerful will be his Quake-Quake Magic, if Zack could fully control and master both his Magic system, and his Magic Power?
Zack truly has no clue, the power within him, is a power that can destroy anything in their path, limited to the abilities of their welder.
In other words, if the welder has enough Magic Power, and understanding of both Magic Power and Quake-Quake Magic, there is nothing this Magic system cannot destroy, making it no different to a planetary level Magic or maybe above.
It is truly a Magic that in the purest of sense, pure destruction in any way.
And yet, the clueless boy has no clue what kind of dangerous level Magic he has, a Magic that can destroy cities if it was another Monday. Islands, if they made of paper, and yet, from the universe this power came from.
It wasn't the power of quakes that conquered the seas, but Haki itself.
Makes one wonder, how powerful Zack can become, in this world, with his altered powers of spirit and destruction.
As Zack finished removing the last remains from the ground in the hole. Zack nodded to himself, seeing the rest of what he has to do, out aloud of course.
"After that… connect the hole and the water source by creating a stream…" Zack went, using a stone with a very sharp and pointy end. And used this sharp stone to dig into the ground, creating a line between the hole, and the lake.
It took over ten minutes with the current physically strength Zack has, to create and connect a 5cm deep stream between the hollow hole, and the lake.
It was no wonder why Zack felt more tried, as he watches as the water began to flow down the stream he has just created, allowing a flow of water into the manmade hole he also has created.
One might wonder why Zack bothered creating a stream 5cm deep between the hole and the lake, when using the flask will be a lot easier on both time and stamina.
But if Zack were to use the flask as a bucket to filled the hole, the flask itself will become dirty by the lake water, causing it to be unusable, unless he has a way to clean the flask as well, which he currently does not at this moment of time.
That is why, while it was tiring doing it, creating a stream between the hole and the lake, was better than anything else he could do with his limited resources.
Only downside of this method, is how long it takes for the small stream to filled the water in the hole will take.
That is why, during the time when the water fills the hole. Zack begins his next step, that is to create a firepit; by using the very branches that he also gathered along with those dried stones.
By using some dead leaves as a fire starter, then dried sticks to create a small flame, when the dead leaves met the small fire, it quickly spread through the dead leaves, then to the branches between the dead leaves.
Once the flames shine brightly, Zack for some reason, gathered the dry stones, not the pointy one he used to create the mini stream. And placed these stones around the firepit to… cook them.
One might wonder, why Zack is cooking stones, but there is a reason for that.
And that reason, this is the only way, or so it is stated in the 'common sense' from God, how one will collect clean water from nothing, if you are in the middle of a forest, with nothing but your bare hands.
Of course, as clueless Zack is, he has no clue how it works, he just followed what is stated inside his mind.
(AN: Will add it in the author notices how it works. It something I remember reading a long time ago, how to collect water from the ground, when you have nothing in hand. A true survival tip.)
What he does know, he needed to create a hole with water and dropped heated growing stones in the water itself.
And after some time, this water source he created should be drinkable.
This is why, as soon the stones begin to admit steam, and faintly grow, he used two branches like chopsticks and put them in the hole.
And before long, Zack finally has a source of water to drink from.

Many might think this was useless, but this time around, I wanted to go more in depth in many things in this fanfic, many things will follow the same as the original fanfic, but some things wouldn't.
After all, MC wouldn't have a System, nor does he have Gravity Magic, or his cheat, Growth Rate. So it is bounded to be different.
Of course, if you are new to reading this, just overlook what I am saying.
Anyway, this is why I wanted to expand this part of the fanfic, showing more of our clueless and foolish protagonist, before he develops into his true personality, like he did in the original fanfic.
I rushed many things in the original fanfic. And this time around, redoing this fanfic, I don't want to rush too much of it. But of course, there will be times when chapters are rush or what is known fast pace.
For example, the next chapter is one of these fast-paced chapters, since it will be time for our MC do some training in Magic and Spirit Arts, and such.

For anything interested, that method I used to collect water is real.
I remember reading it in an article, a way to collect clean water, with nothing but your bare hands, no tools.
And you might think, why bother doing so much, why not drink the lake water?
You crazy?
You don't know how dangerous lake water is?
No matter how clean and clear it may be, animals have access to it. They bath it in, sometimes even do their business in it as well.
That is why you must boil any water source; you are not sure of.
Of course, I am no survivalist expert.
And I might remember this wrongly, since it been a long time since I had read the damn thing.
What I remember, dig a hole least 2 feet deep, near a lake, and near your firepit or campfire. Use dried stones, no wet stones, unless you want them to pop, as you cooked them.
Of course picking up heated stone is a good idea? That is why you use branches or something similar as thongs to lift them in the hole filled with water.
And creating a stream connecting the water source is also needed, not so deep, so you can cover it up.
And before you ask, what about filtering the water?
Believe it or not, but answer to that is dirt, dirt is the answer.
Dirt in the earth acts like a filter, cleansing the animal elements and other elements from the water, while it boils.
Least that how I remember it.

Anyway, thanks for reading, and I hope you guys enjoying this rewritten version of this fanfic.
And remember, I haven't deleted the old content of this fanfic, you can still read if you like. After all, the first and second volume of this fanfic is based on the first volume of the original fanfic it is based on.
Anyway, sorry for any grammar mistakes, if you read my other works, you know grammar and me are like water and oil, we don't mix.
But least I do try my hardest to make these chapters or fairies in this case readable.
Also another thing to know, I had updated this chapter, and the other three before this one. If the chapters have been worse compared to before, I can change them back, I do keep the former copies of each chapter that has been uploaded.
You can always tell if a chapter that has been updated or remade via the Author Thoughts, anyway thanks once again for reading this fanfic, and hope you will enjoy the next chapters as well.
