The Heir of Chaos, Inavy's Saga: The Awakening of Auras

The morning was foggy, and the bells of the Hero Academy echoed throughout Herocity. Birds flew across the gray sky, and the cold wind struck the windows of the immense white building that looked more like a fortress. Inside, young heroes were beginning their first day of classes — the start of the long road that would lead them to the Draft, the greatest event in the world of heroes.

Inavy Stormbreak entered the classroom still yawning, eyes half-shut, hair messy. Beside him, Darius Valtier was chatting with Rose Eldara, both excited as if they were already at the top of the rankings.

The door opened, and a woman with an elegant presence, sharp eyes, and a firm smile stepped in.— Good morning, students. — Her voice echoed. — My name is Miss Daphne. I am an independent hero. I belong to no guild, and today I'll be your instructor.

The class applauded. Some murmured among themselves, others simply watched in silence — all attentive to the imposing figure who exuded authority.

But, of course, not everyone…

At the back of the room, Inavy was fast asleep, drooling slightly onto his desk.

— By the way, professor! — said Darius, raising his hand eagerly. — Why don't we just go straight to the Draft? What's the point of this academy anyway?

Daphne adjusted her glasses and replied firmly:— Because the Draft only happens at the end of the Heroic Season, and this academy exists so you can learn the basics.

She began pacing between the desks, eyeing each of them.— Here, you'll learn simple yet essential foundations: what the Primordial Aura is, how to manipulate it, how to refine your combat styles, how to control your emotions during battle… In short — you have one year to master all of it.

A student in the corner raised his hand.— And if we fail?

A heavy silence fell.Daphne looked at him coldly and said:— Then you'll never, for the rest of your life, become a hero.

The atmosphere in the room changed. Some swallowed hard. Others lowered their gaze. Even Darius, always smiling, went quiet.

But the silence broke when the teacher looked toward the back and shouted:— Hey, you there!

Darius flinched and pointed at himself.— Me, professor?— No. The one next to you.

Darius nudged Inavy hard.— Wake up, man!

— Ow, damn it! Stop pinching me, idiot! — Inavy yelled, lifting his head abruptly. The whole class turned to him.

With an awkward grin, Inavy thought, Great… caught red-handed.

Daphne crossed her arms.— Name, boy.

— Inavy… Inavy Stormbreak.

A murmur spread through the class.— Stormbreak?— Could he be Ray Stormbreak's son?— They look alike, but his hair's different…

Darius rolled his eyes and replied loudly:— That's because his mom's Black, idiots. Look at his eyes — same as Ray's!

Daphne raised an eyebrow.— So you're the son of Ray Stormbreak, the Supreme Hero?

— Yes, ma'am. His eldest son.

The teacher kept her stern look, but there was curiosity in her eyes.— Interesting… So tell me, Mr. Stormbreak, were you sleeping or meditating?

Inavy scratched his head, trying to make something up.— I… was just resting my eyes, professor.

She smiled coldly.— Did you know my special ability is lie detection? That was ugly — lying to your superior. Didn't your father teach you discipline?

Inavy took a deep breath and stood tall.— My apologies, professor. It won't happen again.

Daphne nodded and resumed the class while Darius whispered:— Dude, you almost got wrecked.Inavy muttered back:— Almost? I did get wrecked.

Rose giggled softly and tossed him a candy.— Here. It's coffee-flavored. Might keep you awake.

Inavy caught it, smiled, and thanked her.

Soon, Daphne wrote on the board: "What is Primordial Aura?"— Who can explain?

Inavy raised his hand.— The Primordial Aura is the original essence of life and power. It's the energy born from within the core of every living being. All other powers — fire, water, lightning — are merely its branches.

Daphne was surprised but encouraged him.— Go on.

Inavy stood, grabbed a piece of chalk, and drew a human figure, marking a circle at the navel.— First, the internal origin. The aura is born from each being's vital core — like the first heartbeat, the spark of the soul. It doesn't come from the sun or any external source — it has always been within us.

He drew radiating lines.— Second, natural expansion. It flows outward in invisible waves, feeding body, mind, and spirit.

Then smaller circles.— Third, harmonic rhythm. The aura pulses with breathing, with the heartbeat, with the rhythm of the universe itself. Those who touch this essence feel as though they breathe along with the world.

Daphne watched, impressed.Darius muttered,— Nerd alert.

Ignoring him, Inavy finished:— And lastly, interconnection. Every living being has their own aura, but all are linked — like threads in the same web.

The class erupted in applause.Daphne smiled.— Excellent, Inavy. You've got a gift for explaining.

Then the bell rang, and another teacher entered — a tall man with silver hair and a confident expression.— Hello, class. I'm Bryan, hero of the Phoenix Guild, 4th Squad, Rank B. Today, you'll measure your Auras and discover your elements.

The students got excited. Spherical machines were brought in and placed on the desks, each glowing faint blue.

Bryan began calling names.— Darius Valtier.

The boy placed his hand on the sphere. The device shone intensely.— Reading: 100,050,000 units.

The room gasped.— A hundred million?!Darius grinned smugly.— Heh. Not bad, huh?

— Next, Rose Eldara.

The sphere glowed in shades of blue and white.— Reading: 3,050,000 units.— Not bad, Bryan thought. Her aura's calm, healing.

And then came the most awaited moment.— Inavy Stormbreak.

Inavy took a deep breath and placed his hand on the sphere. For a moment — silence. Then the device started trembling. Lights flickered, the whole room brightened, and a crackling sound echoed.

The machine… exploded.

— Immeasurable, Bryan said, stunned. — This is the fourth time in history I've seen it. Congratulations, Inavy.

Everyone stared in silence. Darius muttered,— Dude… you're a monster.Inavy rubbed his neck, laughing awkwardly.— Must be all the training with my dad.

Bryan then moved on to the second machine — the element detector.Darius placed his hand.— Divine Light and Spatial Manipulation.— Incredible! — Bryan exclaimed. — Only two Divine Light users exist in the world… and you also have spatial manipulation.

Next was Rose.— Healing and Water.Bryan smiled. — Excellent combo. Perfect balance between defense and support.

Then came Inavy. He placed his hand, and the panel flickered erratically. A single word appeared: UNKNOWN.

Inavy groaned.— This thing's broken. I use crimson lightning.

Bryan simply noted it down.— Understood. Next.

Training began soon after. Each student had to release their aura.Darius radiated a golden light that shook the floor.Rose released a soft blue energy that calmed everyone around her.

But when Inavy focused his power, the entire gym trembled. Lights flickered, windows rattled, and the floor cracked beneath his feet. His crimson aura burned like raging thunder.

Bryan's eyes widened.— Typical of a Stormbreak.

Students stepped back, awestruck.— Dude, you're a beast, Darius said, half-laughing in disbelief.— Just a lot of training, that's all, Inavy replied.

By the end of the day, the three walked out together. The sky was darkening, city lights reflecting on puddles from the earlier rain. Inavy stretched, tired, when a familiar voice called from under a nearby tree.

— Hey, Inavy. Been a while, huh?

Inavy turned, surprised — then smiled.— Kelvin?! Dude, it's you!

They hugged, reunited after years apart — two friends who, in time, would change the fate of the world.

— What's it been, five years? — Kelvin asked.— About that. What brings you here?

— Darius asked me to help him with some shopping.

Darius appeared with shopping bags.— Kelvin, you know Inavy?— Of course. We met five years ago.

Inavy scratched his head.— Wait… you two know each other?— We're brothers, Darius said with a grin.— What? You're a Valtier, and he's a Nox!

Kelvin explained:— We were raised by the same man — Lorien Valtier. So, in essence, we're brothers.

Inavy smiled.— Got it… Well then, let's go. I wanna see what you're buying.

The three walked off together, laughing and talking, unaware that this was the beginning of one of history's most legendary alliances.

And in another distant, silent dimension, a being with red eyes watched through the veil of reality. His long hair swayed in the darkness.

— The Heir of Chaos has met my son… good. Let it be so. Destiny begins to turn again.

His voice echoed among the shadows like a prophecy. And the stars trembled.
