When Shayne learned about this from Mr. Declan, he was thrilled to know alpha Jaxon would come with him to the Silver Moon pack in order to inspect the gold. There was nothing out of ordinary about that, after all they had a business deal.
In a spur of moment, Shayne wanted to ask whether the luna of the pack would come as well, but he caught himself before the question left his mouth. It sounded inappropriate and he didn't want to get into trouble.
Shayne still remembered his meeting with alpha Jaxon the last time. It was not a memory that he was fond of.
"Are you listening to me?" Nadia frowned, she had been talking on their way to the lobby when she caught Jaxon was spacing out. "You didn't even listen to me."
"I am sorry, I have a lot in my mind," Shayne replied, but he didn't ask Nadia to repeat what she had said, as he ushered her out of the lift and went to their waiting car.
