Chapter 303: The Ultimate Safe Haven
In the Golden Forest, Ruka stood on a golden leaf, its trunk extending from its body.
Ruka flew straight towards the Thunder Monkey. Pewwwwwww.
The speed was incredible. Whoosh!
The Thunder Monkey created a blue pillar out of thin air. It was as tall as the Monkey itself, and much thinner than the first one.
The Thunder Monkey threw the lightning pillar, flying in a straight direction. Pewwwwwww.
Ruka dodged it. Pewwwwwww, but the lightning pillar detonated itself. Boom!
A terrifying explosion occurred.
Ruka dodged, looking back at the lightning pillar's explosion.
"Well, it doesn't seem as easy as it seems. Even though I can't see it, it still caused such a commotion.
If I'm not serious, I'll probably miss my meal."
Ruka held out her hand, revealing an empty one. But the garden was beautiful. It was a hand that looked like it had never held a weapon before.
"Fifth Spirit Skill." Ruka prepared to use the Fifth Spirit Skill to end the fight.
At a certain location, time had passed. It was nighttime.
The three of them arrived at their destination, one not walking, but being carried.
The three of them looked ahead at the empty ground.
Fiona saw only a golden ground and trees and grass frozen into gold.
Fiona looked around at the ground. "Where? Where? Where? I found it there." Fiona found what she was looking for.
Pointing her finger at the ground, in front of her, a wooden knife shaped like a square flower, like a common flower found on roadsides and streets.
Seraph looked at the flower on the ground. "Is this it?"
Fiona told Gravin to move closer to the flower.
The three of them approached the flower.
They looked at each other, wondering what to do.
Gravin sat down on the ground, along with Seraph and the ground. There was grass made of gold, which sharpened the blade.
The two found a safe place to look down.
All around was golden grass, like needles poking out of the ground.
If they weren't careful, they would have inflicted serious injuries. Luckily, the flower was
grass-free, so they could sit on the ground.
Fiona was released from Gravin's arms.
"This is perfect for opening a flower shop. It's a fine decoration." Fiona reached out to grab the golden flower.
Gravin looked at the ordinary flower. "What is this?"
Seraph looked at her suspiciously. [It's definitely a secret room, concealed with some kind of magical item.
And then activated it to open the entrance?]
Fiona pulled the flower from the ground. Whoosh!
Fiona couldn't do it, having used up a great deal of energy due to her still-healing injuries.
Right now, her body was extremely weak.
Fiona tried to pull the flower from the ground. But no matter how much force he used, it wouldn't budge.
Fiona tilted her head slightly. "That's so weird, so weird. It won't budge at all. I think I used a lot of force, huh?"
Gravin asked the puzzled Fiona. "Then I'll do it myself. What should I do?"
Fiona said with a serious expression. "Um, I have to pull this thing up from here. Is that okay?" Her tone was serious.
Gravin nodded, and began moving his hand towards the golden flower on the ground.
Gravin pulled the flower up from the ground. Boom!
The gold on the ground was broken off, and the flower fell out.
"It's done. Here it is," Gravin held the golden flower out to Fiona.
Fiona took it and held it in her hand. "It's beautiful. Then let's go. It seems my secret base is frozen in gold," Fiona said as she put the flower into her bag.
Gravin paused. "Really? "
Seraph looked at Fiona. "Are you kidding me?" Seraph was about to say that.
Fiona nodded. "Just kidding. Actually, I thought this was beautiful, so I took it myself.
Down here, and my hiding place.
Actually, the chance of it turning into gold is quite high.
So, we should get out of here quickly. It looks like something dangerous is heading in the opposite direction for us.
The demons are starting to invade and establish a border, or that frog has moved, weakening the demons and forcing them to flee for their lives.
And we're out of luck, because my hideout is frozen full of gold.
I guess we'll have to give up. Let's choose different graves."
Fiona said as if it were a normal thing.
Seraph turned to Gravin. "Do you have any good ideas?"
Gravin looked down at the gold-covered ground. "Too bad, I don't have anything I can do."
Gravin had used up all his energy getting here.
And Seraph had been gone for a long time, leaving only Fiona with the possibility of rescuing them.
Unfortunately, of the three, Fiona was the most seriously injured.
The three of them could only think of what to do. They had no energy to go to the next location.
Nightfall had arrived, and the demons were probably starting to approach this place.
Their fighting strength was gone, and despair was consuming them.
Fiona sat on the ground. "There's a chance of survival, but if we can break through the thick, strong gold layer on this ground, we can find refuge.
Let's dig the gold up from the ground," Fiona suggested.
Gravin thought quickly, saying what he could do.
"Should we use our power to destroy the ground?"
I can only create one attack, so I shouldn't be able to destroy much gold.
Fiona gave a thumbs up. "I'd rather keep it for fighting, but whatever.
If we can break it down and carry it to the ground, we can dig it up by hand.
The distance from where the gold solidified is far from here. I think if we dig deeper, we can reach the refuge.
I've already made preparations. The condition for using this flower is to extract it using my signature.
But it doesn't seem like it's going to work. If we can dig all the way to the ground, that's victory. "Fiona offered a chance to survive.
Gravin began to gain courage. "Then let's do it."
The two turned to Seraph.
Seraph nodded. "Then I have a good plan."
[Mr. One, your potion-making skills are amazing.
I'll use the Spirit Ball to break the golden shell, maybe even penetrate it.
And to create a ground-reaching attack, I'll use the brown potion.
It's so useful to turn the ground into mud.
The chance to survive has arrived. I'm running out of energy.]
Seraph could only praise Mr. One for creating such a useful potion.
And the three of them began preparing, with Seraph suggesting a method.
"I have a plan. My potion's ability is to turn the ground into mud."
If you can see the ground, then use this ability.
Senior, your job is just to open the door to the hideout, right? "
Fiona nodded. "Yes, when you take the flower you pulled out
and touch it to the door, the teleportation will activate.
You understand the principle now, right? Just touching the door to the secret room is enough.
So, this senior brought you here, right? "
