Morning light filtered softly through the branches of the Grove, sparkling on frost-tipped leaves. Lira approached the Great Tree, feeling the familiar pulse of life beneath her feet. Its bark shimmered with a faint golden glow.
"Lira," the Giant Tree rumbled, its voice deep and echoing, "the Grove thrives, but there is one gift missing—an ingredient of warmth and energy. You must seek the cacao beans, rare and potent, grown only in the far southern valleys where the sun kisses the earth. They will be used in a potion to strengthen the vitality of all creatures in the Grove."
Lira nodded, determination lighting her eyes. "I understand. I will find them."
Serelyth, already shifting to her humanoid form, stretched her wings, a shimmer of heat radiating from her scales. "This will be quite a journey," she said, a hint of excitement in her voice. "The valleys are distant, but we can fly. I will carry you and your companions safely."
