NYLAH
As soon as I got back from Arianna's place, I sought Xavier. He had done all those things for Arianna without letting me know, and I'd spent months worrying about her and her wellbeing.
I thought maybe she wouldn't be able to afford the bill for the house she was in due to her much needed recovery and condition not to work, but Xavier had it covered already.
He bought the whole flat. That means even her neighbour's buildings were hers. They were paying the rent to her.
I was ecstatic. I got her number before leaving and promised to keep in touch. She also linked to my location so she could find me whenever she needed to.
"Where's the Alpha?" I asked the guard who manned the door of the Alpha's empty room.
"He stepped out ma'am." He replied.
"Since when?" I was growing impatient. The Alpha could travel for days from a mere step out situation.
"Who is looking for me so desperately?" A voice called from behind, and I turned to see who it was.
