The shadow colossus brought his fist down near Arthur, attempted to scoop him up. Ajax lunged forward with his lance, infusing it with shining white flame and shoved Arthur to the side. Arthur grunted as he hit the ground of the stone foundation. Ajax had blocked Thanatos's fist with the lance, and hit it back up. Ajax then dashed into the air. With brilliant white wings made of white fire.
"Face the light! Vile creature!"
Thanatos took a step back into the waves before lunging forward at Ajax, who swiftly dodged. Thanatos was at a clear disadvantage, with the lack of a body, he had also lost all of his bodies, but was also immortal. Thanatos fell into the waves. And would soon rise again. Ajax quickly descended next to Arthur.

Ajax sliced thin air and opened a fracture to the mortal realm.

As Arthur took a step forward the ground rumbled. Thanatos had risen already.

Ajax went back to fighting Thanatos, the bright spear bringing light to the dull sky. And Arthur almost lot his footing. He looked back. Before the recoil of using his mana hit him, and he passed out, falling backwards into the fracture. This time the transition between spaces was not smooth at all. He felt like he was being thrown through space. As Arthur slipped even from the depths of his subconscious, he could hear the last reverberating words of the system.
