Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Choices Return — Broly’s Arrangement

The Saiyan Nursery—

Every Saiyan, after birth, would be placed in the nursery for unified care, and later assigned to different planets for missions depending on their potential.

But ever since Lynx ascended as King, all that was about to change.

By Lynx's decree, no more newborn Saiyans would be sent out on missions. Instead, they would stay on Planet Vegeta to grow and train.

During the five years Lynx planned to be absent, Planet Vegeta would need the combined strength of all Saiyans to ensure its safety. He couldn't allow a race already low in numbers and average power level to make the strategic mistake of spreading their forces thin.

However, one infant, in particular, needed Lynx's special attention.

That baby was Broly, the son of Paragus.

Standing before Broly's incubation pod, Lynx raised an eyebrow.

Even without a scouter, he could feel it—this baby already possessed a power level rivaling Bardock, standing right beside him.

"So this… is the power of the Legendary Saiyan bloodline?"

Even though Lynx himself would soon fuse with that very same bloodline, Broly's current strength still posed a future threat…

DING! Host has developed killing intent toward Broly. Triggering Ultimate Choice.

Choice 1: Kill Broly now to eliminate future threats. Reward: One vial of Legendary Super Saiyan Serum. +1,000,000 power level!

Choice 2: Exile Broly to Planet Vampa. Reward: Five vials of Super Saiyan Serum. +500,000 power level!

Choice 3: Personally raise or assign someone to raise Broly. Reward: Broly's loyalty to the host. +100,000 power level. (Note: Broly may still lose control in the future.)

"Hmm?"

Lynx paused. Another choice had arrived—completely unexpected.

All three options seemed tempting.

Killing or exiling Broly both came with Serum rewards—likely special items that could unlock Super Saiyan transformations.

The third option, on the other hand, only promised Broly's loyalty and a modest power boost. It seemed… underwhelming.

But Lynx didn't hesitate:

"System, I choose Option Three."

DING!Host's choice confirmed. Reward granted. Please fulfill the terms of the choice promptly.

In the next moment, Lynx felt his power grow a little stronger.

Despite being born a Saiyan in this life, Lynx had no intention of living like a typical cold-blooded Saiyan.

In fact, he planned to correct the brutal, power-worshiping culture that had consumed Saiyan society.

From the very start, he had no intention of choosing options one or two.

Option three had always been his original plan.

With that thought, Lynx opened Broly's incubation pod and released the child from the nutrient fluid.

Perhaps due to the system reward, Broly didn't react with the usual Saiyan infant rage. Instead, he quietly stared at Lynx, calm and silent.

Watching his son, Paragus looked reluctant.

This was his child, after all—and now they were to be separated. More than that, Broly already had 10,000 power level at age one. If Paragus kept him close, no one but Lynx could threaten him in the future.

He tried his luck:

"Your Majesty Lynx… King Vegeta is a cunning and selfish man. Once you're gone, he might rebel. Why not let Broly stay by my side? He could support me and Bardock…"

Lynx shot him a cold glance, and Paragus instantly bowed under the immense pressure.

Even Bardock's expression changed—somehow, Lynx now exuded even more dominance than before.

"You don't need to worry about King Vegeta," Lynx said flatly. "He knows the stakes. Planet Vegeta is far from safe, and he won't risk bringing disaster upon the Saiyan race."

Lynx knew the truth—though Frieza had been eliminated, the original order to destroy Planet Vegeta had come from Lord Beerus, the God of Destruction.

Once Beerus awoke from his slumber, Planet Vegeta might still face inevitable annihilation.

If King Vegeta didn't want to go down in history as the race's betrayer, he would have no choice but to follow Lynx's orders.

"Enough. I'm taking Broly now. You two focus on supporting King Vegeta. Soon, Planet Vegeta will undergo a major shift. Just follow my plans and last five years."

"Yes, Your Majesty," Paragus and Bardock bowed in unison.

As Lynx prepared to teleport away, a baby's cry echoed nearby.

He glanced over—and suddenly remembered something important.

How could I almost forget?

That crying baby was Bardock's son—the future protagonist of Dragon Ball: Kakarot, or rather, Son Goku.

At this stage, Goku was still just an infant, barely older than Broly.

Noticing Lynx's gaze, Bardock quickly said:

"My apologies, Your Majesty. That's my child, Kakarot."

"Bardock," Lynx said. "After I'm gone, send Kakarot to a planet called Earth."

"Earth?"

"If your precognition still works, you'll understand what I mean."

"Yes," Bardock nodded slowly. Before the battle with Frieza, he'd had a strange dream…

In it, he saw Kakarot embarking on a grand adventure on a distant planet...

Lynx smiled.

Everything was now in place.

The next moment, he grabbed Broly and activated Instant Transmission.

The sudden disappearance shocked both Paragus and Bardock.

"They're gone? Incredible…" Paragus muttered. "His Majesty Lynx is truly terrifying. But—Bardock, what was that about Earth? What does he mean?"

"That place…" Bardock said quietly. "May hold the future of the Saiyan race…"

Soon After — A Divine Shift

In deep space, a mysterious power suddenly enveloped Planet Vegeta.

Although the Saiyan population had received prior warning from the palace, they were still stunned by the force—it was enough to shake heaven and earth.

When it finally passed, the Saiyans discovered something unbelievable:

Planet Vegeta had moved—it was no longer in its original star system.

They were now orbiting an entirely new star!

Witnessing such a miracle, the Saiyans began following Lynx's command:

They entered a five-year period of hibernation and rebuilding.

Elsewhere in Space…

Not long after Planet Vegeta disappeared, a spaceship arrived in its former orbit.

Inside, several aliens in battle armor stared at the empty space before them.

"Unbelievable… Planet Vegeta is really gone?"

"Was it destroyed?"

"No idea. If it was, there should be planetary debris."

"Whatever happened to the Saiyans… don't forget why we're here!"

"I know—wait! My scouter is picking something up! Oh god—it's… it's Lord Frieza's life signal! He's still alive!"
