"The match begins!" the red-robed bishop announced, then quickly retreated to clear the field.
The first to move was Spirit Hall's group-control expert Hu Liena. With graceful steps, she suddenly appeared at the front. A faint smile graced her lips. As her spirit was released, she appeared even more beautiful, and a fluffy tail extended from her back.
Soft red light emanated from her, and her alluring gaze locked onto Gu Chen, just as she had when they faced Heaven Dou before. Her unique charm made it nearly impossible not to look at her.
But Heaven Dou Second Team didn't engage traditionally. As soon as the match began, they retreated and formed a circle.
At the center stood Ning Rongrong and Oscar. The other five circled them, moving quickly. None of the seven activated their spirits yet, but a powerful wave of soul energy began to build, converging toward the center. Tang San led the front.

After repelling Hu Liena, Tang San fell back and switched places with Gu Chen.

Then the rest of the team moved. Oscar suddenly embraced Ning Rongrong from behind. The red glow surrounding him turned pink, flooding into Ning Rongrong's body.
She raised the Nine Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda. Her fourth soul ring activated—Fourth: Soul.
Four brilliant beams of rainbow light shot into Dugu Yan, who glowed with the same radiance. She passed the energy to Xiao Wu, then to Tang San, and so on.
"Seven-in-One Fusion Technique!" echoed through the plaza.
Exclamations erupted everywhere.
Qian Xunji rested his chin on his hand, the only one unfazed. He glanced at the astonished Ning Fengzhi and Yu Xiaogang in the rest area and muttered, "Soul power assimilation… is this unique to the Nine Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda?"
Aside from food-type soul masters, soul power couldn't normally be shared across spirits due to differing attributes. Yet now, everyone was glowing with multicolored light—Dugu Yan, Xiao Wu, Yu Tianheng, Tang San—all sharing Ning Rongrong's boost. Xu Yu activated his third soul ring, sending support energy into Tianchen.
