Thane," Ariana, what did yo...."
Ariana," don't raise your voice. You are pissing me off!"
Thane's heart was racing. He feared for his family's safety.
" Where are they?"
Ariana," Don't worry. They are fine for now but I don't think they'll be alive for so long. It's such a beautiful sight,the whole family is here including the Riley's. All of them are chatting and enjoying their time, dinner also wow. Lovely, too bad it's going to be their last."
Thane," Ariana, whatever you are planning to do please don't do it. Don't drag my family and Mahira's family into your shenanigans."
Ariana," you can call your family right now and say goodbye to them before I blow them into smithereens."
Ariana immediately cut the call. Thane called his grandmother.
" Grandmother please stop whatever you are doing and leave the house with everyone please."
Alf," ooh dear, why would we do that? We are having such a great time....."
BOOM!!!
An explosion could be heard by Thane on the call.
Thane," grandmother, grandmother what was that sound.... grandmother!"
He kept calling desperately. Thane broke down completely as he did not get a response but he was certain that something bad had happened to his and Mahira's family. The pain in his heart was so severe. The more he thought about his grandmother's death the more he died from within. Angelo and Alexander tried to console their father but he was just too heartbroken. He cried in his son's arm's. Elena administrator's sleeping pills to Thane. She had no idea what could've hurt Thane so badly but she had to put those thoughts aside and help him calm down. Mahira was not there throughout the process which made Elena curious as to where she was. Angelo and Alexander fell asleep beside Thane so Elena decided to look fo Mahira. After looking around she found Mahira in the basement and she was talking to someone. Elena silently hid behind something as she was curious as to what Mahira was talking about and to whom.
Aliya," All thanks to you Ariana, I have what I wanted and my sister has lost the battle."
Ariana hugged Aliya.
" Aliya, the whole family died in a bomb blast just a while ago. I have my revenge now,all we have to do is get rid of Elena and those twinny boy's then you will have Thane all to yourself and start a new family."
Aliya," WOW Ariana! Without you I wouldn't have won against sister."
Ariana," we haven't succeeded yet,we need to slowly change Thane. He is really traumatized by his grandmother's death more than anything. He can't live without her,so take advantage of it. I will take those filthy rats. Your job is to make sure that Thane considers them dead, he shouldn't return to the army come what may."
Aliya looked at her in confusion.
" Ariana,we both got what we wanted. Why should I do that?"
Ariana shook her head in dissapointment.
" You are so stupid Aliya. You haven't succeeded yet. Thane is in love with you as Mahira not Aliya so..."
Elena stepped out from her hiding spot and intervened with tears in her heart. Her discovery shook her off .
" Ariana how could you? You killed my family. Why? I was right! You are not Mahira but Aliya. I must say ,both of you are very cunning. Where is fairly? Why ...why did you kill everyone?"
Aliya was stunned but Ariana had no glint of remorse on her face.
" You always intervene,but don't worry,today I will take you to your beloved fairy ."
After saying that Ariana slapped Elena. It took only two slaps to make Elena completely weak. The shock fo her family's death also played a role in weakening her. Ariana tapes Elena's mouth and ties her hand's and feet. Aliya injects a high dosage of sleeping pills to Angelo and Alexander and puts them inside Ariana's black van. Ariana light's up a cigarette.
" I'll handle these four and you will handle Thane."
Aliya stopped Ariana.
Aliya," Thane already thinks that I am Mahira and he loves me as Mahira so why should I listen to you?"
Ariana lost her temper and slapped Aliya.
" Aliya you bitch you are ruining my plan! Stop thinking about so averagely and think big. Thane needs to be cold and isolated in order for us to win."
Aliya was now furious.
" To heck with you and your nonsensical plan. I have Thane and I am very satisfied. Do whatever you want with these kid's but im no longer part of your foolish plan."
Ariana points a gun at Aliya.
" You have what you want so you are being egotistical. If I could kill a family of more than ten people imagine what I can do to you. Im a psychopath Aliya, don't test me."
Aliya," I don't care but im going to follow my own passion's and desires."
Ariana smiled devilishly and put her gun away.
" Okay, enjoy your new life Mahira Carson,ooh no I made a mistake Aliya Riley."
Ariana drove away leaving Aliya in front of the mansion alone.
( I have everything now and I have gotten rid of that psychopath). Aliya thought to herself.
Ariana gets Aliya arrested under charge's of the murder of Mahira and Thane's family. All evidence pointed at Aliya and she was sentenced to life imprisonment. Later Aliya commits suicide. Ariana was now free from the fear of being arrested by police. With no one by his side, Thane was completely broken and vulnerable. It traumatized him and everyday he died deep inside. Ariana did not take good care of Angelo and Alexander. The drug that was being administered to Mahira weakened Mahira. Finally Mahira wake's up but finds herself in a dark room.
" Hello...." Her voice echoed throughout the room as she weakly opened her eyes.
" Where am I?"
Ariana walked into the room holding a glass of juice.
" Mahira! You are finally awake."
Mahira," Ariana.... what do you want from me? Why did you bring me here?"
Mahira asked faintly. Ariana sat on a chair opposite Mahira and bowed her head in shame.
" Mahira, I want to apologize. I have been a psychopath as I was lost in my revenge. I thought revenge would leave me satisfied but I am just traumatized now."
Ariana gives Mahira juice to drink.
" Mahira, you are a very good person. You are also a very good mother. I am leaving this country. I killed your whole family but now I've had enough of revenge."
Mahira looked at her with disbelief.
" What...do...y... you m.. mean?"
Mahira was already breathing heavily now.
" Re... repeat what...y.. you said. What did you do to my family....how...what...when...why?"
Ariana looked at her with pity.
" Mahira I killed the whole Carson and Riley's,no one was left alive."
Mahira," My...my son's..... Thane.... mommy.... Elena... you.....did you..."
Ariana," your husband needs you, your son's as well."
Mahira," Why are you telling me that? ... aren't.... you ashamed....of ...."
Ariana," I'm not confessing my sins, I don't regret my revenge but right now, your son's do need you, poor Elena is a waitress in some unknown country. The poor girl is just fifteen."
Mahira got extremely angry and raised her voice despite her body being weak.
" What did you do to my children? How can you be so cruel? What kind of woman are you? Where is Elena? My children...tell me where the fuck are my children."
Ariana pulled out a gun from gun pocket and aimed it at Mahira.
" Your precious son's, I sent them to orphanages. Different orphanages in two separate countries. Your darling Elena is a waitress in some bar at... I don't even know where. Your husband is all alone, traumatized, devastated. Your precious family has gone to meet their creator,maybe some of them are burning in hell as we speak and you Mahi, im going to murder you."
Mahira stood frozen,her eyes locked on the glinting barrel of Ariana's gun. The deemly lit room made Mahi fear for her life. She knew she had to find a way out but she had no idea how.
Ariana sneered her voice dripping with venom and her word's as venomous as a snake.
" You're a foolish girl Mahi. You thought you could stop me? You made a mistake the day you decided to intervene with my plans. Alf would've been the only sacrifice then you would be happy with your poor family but no. You just had to play hero. I've planned this ever since you threw me into prison."
Mahira only had her children in mind.
" Ariana I want my children. Enough with you schemes. The police will get ahold of you sooner or later."
Ariana laughed wickedly. Her wicked laughter echoed throughout the empty abyss of the small dark room.
" I warned you didn't I? I told you to not meddle in my plans. Now everything you had is gone. You are still going to loose more. Im that nightmare in your life. I want you dead,that will be my final gift to Thane, your corpse."
Suddenly Ariana's phone flickered indicating that there was a new message. A sinister grin appeared on Ariana's face.
" My men have bought you a beautiful coffin. My condolences. I will put your corpse in that coffin."
As Ariana's attention was on her phone, Mahira kicked her abdomen and moved her fist aiming for Ariana's face. As they engaged in a fight,they were equal opponents with Mahira's weak body as the only weakness. Mahira got shot on her arm but she used her other hand to fight. She hit Ariana's head with a steel rod which left Ariana unconscious. Mahira then tore of a piece of her clothing. She went to another room and found twizzers in a first aid kit. She used that to remove the bullet that had pierced into her skin. She used an alcoholic sanitizer to clean her would. She was in so much pain as she took care of the would herself. After she was done cleaning it she used the cloth to tie her arm to stop the bleeding then put the bandage as well. To ensure that Ariana wouldn't be able to follow her, Mahira tied Ariana to a fan on the ceiling using ropes. Gasping for oxygen, Mahira sprinted through the forest, branches snapping beneath her feet. She didn't dare look back, fearing the treat's and the darkness. Finally the trees parted revealing the familiar path to her home. With a surge of relief, Mahira burst into the house. She learned against the door panting. Her wound had started bleeding again. The house's lights were off.
Mahira took a quick shower and cleaned her would with alcohol again before bandaging her would again. She was exhausted and drained. As she went back downstairs she heard a faint sob from the corner of the study room. She silently approached the room with a knife in her hand. When she lit the lights of the room her heart sank . She rushed to Thane's side, and tear's flowed down as she saw Thane's weak state. He was curled up in the corner,his hair messy, the button's of his shirt undone halfway. He was an absolute mess.
Mahira's heart ached at that sight. She kneeled down and stroked his messy hair. Thane slowly looked up to see who it was and his face was soaked in tear's. He looked like he hadn't slept in day's.
Thane," Mahi? "
He immediately hugged her small waist and cried on her chest. Mahira also cried seeing him in that state.
" Thane..my love what have you done to yourself? How could you neglect yourself like this?"
Thane," Mahi I couldn't protect them. Why did you abondon me? Without you I can't do anything Mahi. You are the only thing I have left. Don't abondon me please."
Mahira," Thane... don't do this to yourself. When have I ever abondoned you? I love you more than my life itself. Im sorry you had to go through this alone. Our entire family...we list everyone within a few months and..."
Mahira let her tear's flow as she spoke. She enveloped Thane into a tight hug. As Thane's tear's soaked Mahira's dress, Mahira's heart ached even more. It pained her to see Thane in such a vulnerable condition. He looked innocently broken and his body kept trembling.
Mahira," Thane, I need to..."
Mahira was about to stand up but Thane's gentle grasp on her arm stopped her.
Thane," if you leave you won't come back. You will forget me and die then you will leave me alive alone in this hell. Just stay with me and hold me, don't ever leave me again please im begging you."
Mahira's heart became sore at his word's. He's state was pitiful. Thane was always strong. Mahira looked at Thane and pulled him back to her embrace.
MAHIRA'S POV
Thane looked so bad. Handsomely bad. His condition was unbearable. I had never imagined in my life that the all so strong Thane would be this broken. Seeing a woman shattered was common but Thane. I wonder how he had been without me. He had no one's support. Our family had fallen apart. Our parents, cousins they were all dead. My son's my fairy goddaughter are the only ones left and I don't even know where on earth are my children. I can't even be broken, I can't allow myself to break. I can't cry I need to support Thane. Seeing him so vulnerable crushed me. Ariana was more psychotic than I had imagined. Over the year's I had learned to be strong so I am not going to loose this battle. Ariana messed with me now im going to teach her a lesson. I'll teach her a lesson. She will pay for every single tear Thane dropped. I will get her punished for all her misdeeds. This is Mahira Thane Carson's promise. I will find my children and fix this mess.
