Mahira has changed
" Mr Thane Leon Carson,we are here on professional term's but since you are so determined to get your heart broken let me help you. I do not love you Thane."
Thane searched Mahira's eye's to see if there was any hint of weakness but her face and eye's were emotionless.
Thane," Mahira you loved me at some point. Im sorry if I took longer to realize that I love you. But Mahira you and I can still work. Unexpectedly, Thane pulled Mahira close and kissed her. Mahira knew well not to respond to the kiss. But this was her first kiss. Mahira pushed him away and slapped him.
" Mr Carson,im asking you politely to leave my office or else I'll throw you out of my company myself."
Thane," you loved me once. It's understandable that you are angry. I won't give up on you, just like you did not give up on me for nine years. Today I stole your first kiss, one day you will allow me to violate you. I'll be the only man to steal your Innocence. I know you still love me but...."
Mahira threw her office puncture in anger and it hit his head.
Thane," fuck!"
Mahira grabbed his arm and took him to the employees office block.
" Hey! All of you pay attention. If I fuckin see this bastard near my company I will make sure you all pay. Not only security but each and every one of you will loose your fuckin job's if he appears before me. Is that clear!"
Everyone responded," Yes Ms Riley."
Mahira," security,take this piece of garbage and escort him out. Take a good look at him and make sure he never set's foot here."
Security," Yes Madam."
As the security escorted him out ,Mahira headed back to the office and close the door behind her. As the doors of a office closed she slowly slid down whilst leaning against the door and started crying. All her defenses were broken and she wasn't as strong as she sounded.
MAHIRA'S POV
Why did he have to come back? When I finally decided to move on he chose to come back, even worse he loves me. It took me two whole year's to forget him and now he is back. NO! I won't let him come back into my life not again.
End of Mahira's POV
Mahira wiped her tear's and went to her desk to continue her office work.
Carson Mansion
Thane went back home with an injury sustained on his forehead. The cut was so deep it needed stitches. The arm that Mahira had grabbed Thane was bleeding. When he came back home everyone looked at him with amusement.
Elena," Hey brother,did you get beaten up on your way to Mahira's company."
She burst into laughter.
Sofia," Elena you are not funny. Why are you making fun of your brother ? Can't you see he's hurt." Sofia turned to Thane.
" Son , what happened to you? Which animal did this to you?"
Thane threw his body on the sofa.
" Mom, you won't guess who did this to me." He said
Elena started laughing as soon as she guessed who had caused his wounds.
" Wait brother. You mean to tell me that fairy did this to you."
Sofia sighed and threw a first aid kit at Thane.
" Well then,if Mahira did this to you,tend to your wounds yourself. I think you deserve it. I lost the chance to have such a good daughter in law because of your stupidity."
Sofia rolled her eyes as she stood up to leave.
Elena," Aaw! Sorry brother. I think it's not going to be easy to woe Mahira. Fairy has really changed. But in a way, I understand why she changed. She really went through a lot because of the love she had for you."
Alf,"Yeah! Mahira really has changed. Getting her back is not going to be easy. Especially now that she is a multimillionaire. I didn't think she was so creative and talented."
Thane bandaged his wounds after Alf stitched them. He really had a lot to fix. Mahira went back to the office late that night. Kaashvi was home and her expression was just filled with anger.
"Ooh so Mahira, how do you feeling coming home exactly at midnight on our first day in America?"
Mahira just ignored her. Kaashvi pulled her back to face her.
Kaashvi," Have you forgotten what day it is today.? It's our friendships 8th anniversary have you forgotten."
Mahira yanked her arm from Kaashvi's grip.
" Im sorry I forgot. I'll get you a gift tomorrow. Happy anniversary, but im tired I need to sleep!"
Kaashvi was so dissappointed. The more she looked at Mahira her anger doubled. She was not going to hold herself back this time. She hated how Mahira turned out to be.
" Mahira it's been two fuckin years since you left that guy. Ever since you started focusing on your career, you fuckin lost yourself. You are a multi billionaire but tell me something have you ever took a day off to go shopping with me."
Kaashvi had tears in her eyes as she spoke. Her heart was in so much pain because of Mahira. Mahira looked down unable to watch Kaashvi crying.
" Mahira when you were just twenty, you were very sweet and positive. No matter what life threw at you, you always smiled. That guy fucked up. He fucked up Mahira and you let him fuck up because of your fuckin love for him. After I helped you with your career, you suddenly forget who you are,huh. What about our dreams? What about our plans? Because of some fuckin loser you decide that you will forget us. You fuckin forgot who the hell you are. I was the one who helped you with the success and fame you have but you... you are just not the Mahira I befriended eight year's ago.
Mahira didn't even understand what she became but she did not want to experience heartbreak again.
" You don't understand why I wake up every single fuckin morning to go to work."
Kaashvi," If I don't understand then make me understand . If you know your reasons then please share I'd like to know your reasons."
Mahira," working makes me happy. I enjoy my job so much and im very much satisfied."
Kaashvi," Really. Do you fuckin enjoy your life? Because of that god damned guy you decided not to give life a chance. You are Mahira Riley to the world but not to me. You are the CEO of AMS but I know you inside out. I know that you still love that good for nothing Carson. I know you probably don't realize but what you are doing is selfish. Your mom, sister, brother, your dad,me your whole fuckin family is paying for that assholes mistakes. You are not the Mahira I know anymore. Tell me what will you do when Thane comes back."
Mahira's emotionless face soon burned into a frowning expression. She looked at Kaashvi.
Kaashvi," Why are you looking at me like that? Is he here?"
Mahira remembered what happened in her office.
" That bastard is back. He cane to my office and claimed to love me. He had the nerve to come back. He fuckin told me that he loved me. He created a scene in my company. "
Kaashvi looked at her shocked.
" So Thane is back, interesting. Worst part he loves you,im shocked."
Mahira," How can you be so chill about it?"
Kaashvi," I'm not chill about it. For seven years you loved him,and now it's been nine years. He only realized your worth when you were gone. If you let him back into your life, don't come crying on my shoulder. I still think that asshole doesn't deserve you. And if you keep being cold and indifferent towards me, I will go back to Korea and that will be the end of our friendship,so make up your mind."
Kaashvi stood up and went to her room.
( I have a new life now. Im not going to allow myself to love someone again. It's enough. My life is complete and I love my work) Mahira thought to herself.
