Chapter 132: Pirate World – The Game House
"The newbie phase of the ninja world has ended. Now, they're about to face real Corrupted Creatures."
"Will they become heroes who save the world… or exploit it for personal gain to strengthen their clans?"
Fang Yi politely greeted his neighbors and looked up at the now aging hot spring inn before him.
This had been the very first inn he'd built with his own hands after transmigrating into the ninja world, completely penniless.
He had originally planned to live quietly for a while, then return to Earth as a wealthy man. But looking back now, everything had changed.
A man with no ambitions had somehow become the savior of the world, the one who stood against the Corruption.
Fate was truly strange.
Afu casually picked up a skewer of sticky rice balls from a street vendor. "Master, are we leaving?"
"Most of the ninja world is now aware of the Samsara Game."
"I'll deploy nine more game towers to continuously recruit new players. The structure is already stable—there's no need to keep focusing on the ninja world."
Fang Yi skillfully pulled a coin from his pocket and dropped it into the vendor's bamboo basket to pay.
The ninja world's situation was clear.
The Four Great Ninja Villages were thriving. The Hot Spring Konoha Village was working toward revival, and the Konoha Empire was biding its time, poised to strike.
Even the smaller ninja villages had grown restless. They were pouring everything into the Samsara Game, with players hunting Corrupted Creatures nonstop, all seeking their ticket into the New World.
Most chakra-rich ninjas had already become players.
Those left behind were struggling against the tide—either seeking entry or being eliminated from the system entirely.
After all,
even those once-great Kage who had stood at the very summit of the ninja world were now limited to domination within the Newbie Village in the Samsara Game.
Anyone strong enough to obtain a New World map already had at least Kage-level strength.
For the ninja world, this was a dawn—a rising sun on the horizon.
All factions were climbing, and in the end, there could only be one winner.
Would it be a tyrant ruling the world, or a dreamer ushering in peace?
That would depend on how they performed in the game.
And with that,
Fang Yi could finally turn his full attention to the Pirate World, which had long been left on auto-pilot.
After saying his goodbyes to the neighbors, he walked slowly down the street.
The neighbors, who had been silently watching his retreating figure, suddenly blinked in confusion—then went about their business as if nothing had happened, as if Fang Yi had just been some passing traveler.
Until finally, sunlight fell upon his body, casting a fading, ethereal shadow—
And then he was gone.
...
"The East Blue, huh?"
Fang Yi hovered in midair above an endless sea.
Storms and gales raged, throwing up towering waves that crashed into the ocean surface, creating massive shockwaves.
His previously built game tower still stood at the heart of the sea—firm as an immovable pillar.
"Master, the Pirate World's newbie village only has two thousand players, and they haven't even hunted a single Corrupted Creature yet."
The torrential rain that pounded down like hammers seemed to halt just before hitting them, blocked by an invisible barrier.
Afu was puzzled.
Her senses told her that the Pirate World's source energy was no weaker than the ninja world's. It should be capable of producing lifeforms on par with Kage or even Super Kage-level beings.
In fact, the Pirate World was enormous, and its source energy might even surpass the ninja world's.
It didn't have Fang Yi's focused development, sure—but the progression gap still felt excessive.
"It's normal."
Fang Yi closed his eyes, sensed the Pirate Newbie Village's state, and nodded calmly. "I overlooked the differences between the two worlds."
"Differences?"
"That's right. Unlike the ninja world, which has fixed power structures—"
Fang Yi gently patted Afu on the head. "Even though the ninja world is chaotic, it still maintains a general order. The Five Great Nations control most of the land. Civilians labor to support the ninja system, while ninja fight each other for resources."
It was a twisted kind of order, but order nonetheless.
"And the Pirate World?" Afu asked, playing along.
"A map far larger than the ninja world, scattered with countless islands and continents, separated by vast oceans."
"There's the World Government and Marines, sure—they provide some semblance of order. But their power isn't overwhelming. They don't even have the strength to drive pirates away."
"They've fallen so far they hire pirates to keep other pirates in check—legalizing plunder just to hold onto a shred of authority."
"And in the Grand Line, the New World? It's nothing but blood, fire, and pillaging. The strongest pirates form their own nations..."
Fang Yi couldn't help but sigh.
It was chaos. It was madness.
A world filled with dreamers and lunatics, colliding at sea in pursuit of their ambitions.
He stretched out his hand and effortlessly recalled the game tower—which not even storms and gales could budge—like plucking a toothpick from the water.
With a bit of source energy,
the pitch-black Samsara Game Tower was reshaped into a trading vessel that now floated calmly on the sea's surface.
Atop its mast flew a black flag with a plain white skull—unaffected by wind or rain.
Unlike other pirate crews who added personal touches to their Jolly Rogers—like clown noses or white beards—this one was entirely unadorned.
It looked like the very first pirate flag ever flown in this world—raw and pure.
Fang Yi sat at the ship's bar.
In front of him was a decently spacious hall, filled with tables and chairs and shelves stocked to the brim with random goods. It looked like a small general store.
"The Pirate World is too vast. It's not worth building a game tower on every island."
Glancing at his abundant reward point balance,
Fang Yi created a rune capable of guiding fate and embedded it into the ship's flag.
"In that case, I'll leave it to destiny."
He stepped onto the deck and hung a plain wooden sign from the ship's highest point using a piece of twine.
[Game House]
And so, the ship of destiny sailed slowly through lightning and storm.
Every so often, strange fruit the size of a fist would drop from a hatch at the ship's base, drifting along ocean currents to all corners of the world.
...
A pirate ship with a swan-shaped prow sailed nearby. Its flag featured a side-facing skull with a red heart.
This was the infamous Alvida Pirates of the East Blue.
The grotesquely obese captain, covered in fat and scars, lounged across a crate of stolen goods, tearing into a giant drumstick.
"I just killed two guards. Trained ones—failed Marines, of course!"
"I killed seven in total, but one brat got away."
Around her, pirates laughed and drank, reveling in a bloody feast.
In a corner of the ship,
a bespectacled boy with pink hair—Koby—shuddered.
Hearing the pirates brag about slaughtering civilians made his blood run cold.
If they ever found out that he'd helped an innocent child escape, they'd beat him to death.
He wouldn't even be allowed to keep his job as a swabbie.
Panicking, Koby straightened up and kept hauling boxes of stolen goods.
Then a wave crashed over the side—salty seawater splashed into his mouth.
Along with it, a strange, misshapen fruit struck him in the chest.
