Finn was now sitting in a dark room his head facing down from the corner of his eyes he saw a red light small but visible it kept going off and on by itself from what Gris told Finn that was a camera and it meant that he was currently being watched hence the reason he was looking down he didn't want to be suspicious.
Suddenly the lights were back on… well one light to be particular this room only had one light bulb in the middle of the ceiling. Finn took a few looks around he was currently in a room with grey concrete walls and what looked like a door that was made of metal.
He examined the table in front of him and the empty seat opposite to him as for him he was currently sitting on a metal chair his hands were cuffed and the chair itself was reinforced into the ground.
'Gris there's a weird gust of wind brushing on my back in some pattern does it mean something?'
[That's just an air conditioner]
'Ah I think I get it, that conditioner thing. It conditions air and lets it pass, right?'
For some reason Gris didn't respond.
In the next second the metal door started to open but instead of opening like a normal door it was like the door moved to the side and hid behind the walls of the room. Coming through the door was a man with slick back black hair and dark blue eyes.
He walked inside and the door returned to its original position behind him. The man was giving Finn a fierce look, but Finn was paying it no matter. He was too astonished by the magical door.
The man sat on the seat opposite to him.
"I've read a brief report about you. That guy named Brock that you were with he entered your name as Finn. That is your legal name, correct?"
Finn finally looked back towards the man and right as he did, he realized he shouldn't've his dark blue eyes were menacing and eerie like a deep dark history of battles and many traumatic experiences hid behind them.
Finn gulped "…Yes."
"Okay then Finn. Let me get straight to the point, how and where did you get that S.B.A suit? I will be fair you almost got away with it too you were just unlucky I had just returned from a long journey. I mean if I wasn't there no one would've sensed that suit on you."
Finn raised an eye brow.
"If you weren't there? I'm sorry but I don't remember you being there at all. Unless you were one of those guards that tackled me."
The mans expression changed the corner of his mouth curled up and his eye brows raised.
"Oh right. I guess you wouldn't have remembered seeing me there. I'm Rain."
The room fell into a few seconds of silence.
"How come you look nothing like him. I mean come on that other guy had a beard and long uncombed hair and downright looked homeless and don't even get me started on his demonic looking eyes."
"Kid you do know there all kinds of items out there that could do all types of weird things, items even that can change the way you look."
'Ah… I guess he's got a point.'
"Anyway, back to topic. That suit you've got its not like any model that came out across the years it's completely unique I almost didn't recognize it. So, I'll ask again where did you find it?"
Staring into Rains eyes Finn remained silent he just wasn't ready to disclose the location of that bunker yet.
Noticing Finns silence Rain got up from his chair.
"Fine you can stay silent if you'd like but that won't matter really because this next offer will make the difference."
He slammed his hands on the table and rested his body weight on it.
"You now have only two options. Either we execute you to take that suit and before you say you'll just give it up, you can't once the suit chooses you, you can't take it off until you die. Now the other option either you die or you work for the country. What that means is that you'll join one of the forces of the country's military and since I was the one to take you in, you'd be with the search and rescue department meaning you'll work under me and begin your training in my facilities."
Obviously, a deal like this is a no brainer but one problem rose. Finn wasn't dumb he knew that working for the governments forces meant he would basically end up being their dog. Ordered around when needed and put down when disobedient.
'Well, there's really no option here.'
"So, what your saying is either I die today or I can postpone my death to a later time. That time though my death would be more gruesome if I end up in the maw of a tree beast."
"I'd say that's just about the gist of it yeah."
Finn was silent for a few moments and then stood up.
"Alright… what's the pay grade for a government dog?"
