💿 Location Initialization: Timeline 107 – Classified as REDLINE
Anchor State: Sarah = RewrittenChronos Level: Absolute Control
Mira inserted the Chronos access key into a burnt-out server in the underground sector.
Kentarō stood behind her, tense.
"You're sure Sarah's alive here?"
Mira nodded, but her expression was grim.
"She's alive. But… she isn't yours in this world."
The gateway pulsed. The world dissolved.
🌒 Arrival – A City Under Chronos
Timeline 107 wasn't a city anymore.
It was a machine.
Giant Chronos towers pierced the sky. Drones patrolled intersections. Time itself was regulated—minutes flowed in bursts, not seconds.
People moved like puppets. Their watches blinked red: "Synced."
Kentarō's watch? It blinked: "UNAUTHORIZED."
He covered it quickly.
They had one goal: Find Sarah. Or what's left of her.
👁️ Sarah – Operative: Code AN-01
He found her in the main Chronos tower. She was leading a raid team, erasing "unauthorized emotion clusters" from memory servers.
Her hair was short. Eyes colder. She wore the Chronos coat with pride.
And in this world—she didn't recognize him.
🗡️ Kentarō Approaches
He stepped into her path.
"Sarah..."
She raised her pulse-blade instantly.
"You are a memory glitch. Name and designation?"
"Kentarō," he said softly. "I'm not from here. But you know me."
She stared, unmoved. "All love has been system-purged. You are an echo."
"I remember you," he whispered. "From when you argued over apples. From when you put your head to mine to learn the world."
She froze—barely.
"That data is corrupted."
⚔️ The Fight
She lunged.
Kentarō dodged, barely keeping up.
"I know you're in there!" he shouted, parrying her blade with a cracked time shield.
Mira watched from above, broadcasting emotive triggers to try and weaken Sarah's control.
Nothing worked.
Until Kentarō activated the last fragment of her memory crystal—the one he kept hidden since Chapter 12.
A voice echoed from it:
"No matter the timeline, he always finds her."
Sarah faltered. Her hand trembled.
Memories surged—
A Ferris wheel kiss
Holding Kentarō after her first breakdown
Reika painting them from a rooftop view
Laughing under stars while forgetting the world was collapsing
🫧 Sarah's Awakening – But the Price
She dropped her blade.
"Kentarō…?"
She clutched her head. The world around them cracked.
Chronos sirens wailed.
"Unauthorized anchor breach. Reality instability imminent."
Sarah collapsed into his arms, tears falling.
"I don't want to be this version of me."
Kentarō held her tight. "Then let's leave."
🔥 The Burning Choice
Mira activated the failsafe. They could escape—but only if the timeline collapsed completely behind them.
Sarah looked back at the tower she once called home.
"All the people here… even if they're numb… they're still people."
"And if this version of me ever comes back?"
Kentarō took her hand.
"Then we burn this place… with love."
💥 The Collapse
As they exited, Mira detonated the Core Crystal Reactor.
Chronos Tower crumbled. The sky turned to fire.
Timeline 107 collapsed into a singular burning thread—
erased.
🌌 Final Scene – After the Escape
Back in the real world line, Sarah sat beside Kentarō. Her hair still short. Her hands still shaking.
"You saved me from a version of myself I never want to meet again."
Kentarō smiled, exhausted. "I loved her too. Even if she tried to kill me."
Sarah laughed through tears.
"You idiot."
