Rena wandered down the halls, her fingers rubbing her chin as she delved into her thoughts
'What are you thinking about' the young Rena asked, like a child whose curiosity was piqued by the smallest things Rena did.
'I am thinking of how to get out of my damn mind' Rena replied coldly with a glare
'Scary' Young Rena said sticking out her tongue
While still in her thoughts, Rena bumped into someone crashing and spilling the load the person was carrying
"I am sorry" Rena said calmly
The figure bending down to pick them up spoke calmly
"It is my fault, don't be sorry; I was not watching where I was going"
Raising her face, the dark blue hair was mesmerizing It reminded one of the ocean late at night when moonlight is cast upon it. She had crystal blue eyes to match her hair with little almost unnoticeable freckles which suited her well
She had dark circles underneath her eyes probably due to overworking
"What is your name?" Rena asked stretching her hand
'Yes, the nice prince stretch' Young Rena said looking in disgust
Rena just ignored her
Looking at her hand in awe for a split second, the figure snapped itself to reality helping herself up
"Thank you"
"I asked what your name is?" Rena said smiling once again
"I am Yue" the figure said shyly
"Nice to meet you Yue"
"Are you part of Rika's class?"
"Yes, I am" Yue answered
Observing all the documents in her hands, stacks upon stacks of documents, Rena was slightly curious
"Where are you going perhaps?" Rena asked
"Um, I am going to meet Shiro, he asked me to carry all these documents and review them"
"I am going to give him my report" Yue said looking at the documents
'Shiro huh'
'Who is Shiro?' Young Rena asked in awe and excitement
'Shut it pipsqueak'
Rena huffed before looking at Yue again
"Let's go meet Shiro"
"Okay" Yue replied
Yue and Rena walked beside each other, the walk was quiet as Yue was sweating buckets
'Why is she walking with me'
'Did I do something wrong'
'I am scared'
Those very thoughts ran through Yue easily as her mind dived into further chaos
Arriving at their destination, Rena looked at it
It was a small house, made by the students. It did not look pretty, but it was sufficient to accommodate their work.
As Rena stepped inside, she was astonished. The interior decoration was totally different from the outside, comfortable chairs and desks were piled everywhere
Students were seen moving in and out of doors, talking to each other rather serious which made Rena seemingly speechless
"Where is Shiro staying?"
Yue dropped the documents on a desk and pointed to a door at the center
As Rena walked away, Yue could only watch her shadow
'What are you going to say when you see him?' Young Rena asked
As Rena opened the door, she saw Shiro who was reading through some documents at light speed
"Yue, I will be with you in a second"
"I am not Yue though" Rena asked which made Shiro look up
Standing up, Shiro bowed in respect and apologized which made Rena chuckle slightly
"Let me get you tea and biscuits"
"I would love that" Rena said as she sat down on a sofa
"Yue, please come in" Shiro said as he sat down back on his chair
As Yue walked in, she felt slightly tense. The atmosphere looked calm but thick like a fog
"Please get Goddess Rena some tea and biscuits."
"Okay" Yue said exiting the room
As Shiro and Rena looked at each other, Rena observed everything in the room
"What brings you here goddess Rena?" Shiro asked
'Straight to the question, he is different' Young Rena said
'How do you intend to respond me'
"I cannot come and see my heroes who will slay the demon king" Rena said with a smile across her face
"We are alone, so please drop that act"
"What act exactly?" Rena asked
"You tell me" Shiro responded
Rena sighed before responding
"It is not an act, just who I am"
"I would like to get some information from you, though." Rena said
"So, what is it?"
"Let's talk over a popular game back on your Earth: chess." Rena said calmly
