As the final number rang out, a brilliant light engulfed Lucas.
The scene before him began to fade, and the air around him shifted. When his vision cleared, he was no longer in the dark castle dungeon. Instead, he had returned to the place where it all began:
Room 404 on the fourth floor of the Temple of the Job-Changers.
In front of him stood the same huge spherical holy stone, still glowing with a mysterious light. His hands, which had been resting against it moments ago, were now lowered.
Before he could even process it all, a new prompt blinked open on his personal career panel:

He held it for a few seconds, twirling it in his hand, watching how the light caught its edges. Then, with satisfaction, he placed it back into the backpack.
He was ready to try out his new power.
Having just completed his first job advancement, his overall stats had grown significantly. With his upgraded talents and new evolving weapon, Lucas couldn't wait to test just how much destruction he could cause now.
He opened his character panel one last time.
Next to the "Awakening" field, it now displayed: First Turn.
He smiled, then closed the window and stepped toward the exit.
As he descended from the fourth floor and walked into the hall of the temple, the front desk lady greeted him with a smile.
"Take care."
She didn't ask him about his results. She didn't need to. That kind of personal information was respectedāit wasn't her business.
Lucas nodded. "Thank you."
And then he turned to leave.
