The children eyed the grand island from the aircraft's windows.
It was a grand structure, round, with hundreds of feet tall walls surrounding its periphery.
As the pilot announced that they would be landing soon, All Might, who had been sitting in a different compartment all this while, came to them.
"All right, everyone!" All Might said, smiling. "Change into your Hero Costumes. I hope everyone's carrying their cellphones. There's an event planned tonight. You will be representing UA, so try to come there together. Meanwhile, you are free to explore the entire island, but make sure you do that in groups. Also…"
All Might's smile widened. "It's a once-in-a-lifetime kind of opportunity. Make it count and… Have Fun!!!"
Cheering, everyone nodded as All Might went back.
He had already told them how he had a friend on the I-Island whom he would be visiting after reaching there.
Surprisingly, at first, All Might wasn't coming along with them.
From UA, Dust Hero: Sand was supposed to go with the students.
However, at the last moment, All Might stepped in for some reason, having a personal talk with Mr. Reijirou Saionji.
So, All Might's visit to the I-Island wasn't a publicly known fact, yet.
By the time students changed into their Hero Costumes, the aircraft landed on the port.
All Might took the bright and wide-eyed students through the security check, their heads snapping in all directions.
[Currently on I-Island, we are having the pre-opening of I-Expo…] The announcement echoed through the surroundings as they stepped out of the Airport.
"Oh my…" Uraraka gasped.
Shoji created more eyes to take everything in.
Toru, Mina, Kyoka, and other girls gathered, almost jumping.
And even the boys found it hard to look away from the sight, envying Shoji's Quirk.
It was truly a sight to behold. People were roaming in the sky, seated in different kinds of modules. On the ground, hundreds of Pro Heroes walked, surrounded by people. And Quirks were everywhere.
"I can't believe so many people are here before they are even open to the public," All Might commented. "Unlike Japan, people in this place are free to use their Quirks however they like. Visit the pavilions, students. They must be jam-packed with demonstrations. Also…"
Suddenly, someone spied All Might, who was wearing his Hero Costume, too.
An uproar washed over the crowd, hundreds of people rushing to him, ignoring the students.
Somehow, one by one, they slithered their way out of the crowd, gasping for breath.
"Man…" Eijiro complained, coughing. "It's all cool until you get walked over when you are with All Might…"
After a while, covered in kisses, All Might gathered everyone at a comparatively quieter corner.
"All right!" All Might said, wiping the lipstick marks off his face. "We part here, students! You will be submitting a report on what you did during the Hero Site Visit after returning. And it will be counted toward your Final Exams as well. So, don't just idly walk around. To help you out, a detailed list of all the events and other stuff will be sent to you on your mobile. So…"
"Uncle Might!"
Everyone's heads snapped toward the direction of the sound.
A blond-haired girl, hopping on a POGO stick-like device, came bouncing downstairs. With one great hop, she threw herself at the Pro Hero. "Uncle Might!"
All Might laughed, carrying the girl. "It's so good to see you again, Melissa!"
"It's been so long since I saw you," the girl with round glasses said. "I am so glad you came…"
"Thanks for calling me at the last moment," All Might said, lifting the girl higher. "You have grown… I almost didn't recognize you."
"Hehe…" Melissa giggled. "Well, I am eighteen now, Uncle. I am much heavier than the last time you saw me."
"What are you saying?!" All Might said, throwing the girl up. "I can't tell the difference at all! Haha!"
Standing among the children, Luke eyed the girl whom he only remembered from his previous life as the Tech Giant of the I-Island.
Unknown to many here, Luke knew a few things about Melissa.
She was the daughter of Dave Shield, a renowned Scientist from the I-Island who had also won the Nobel Quirk Prize for his research.
And — fortunately or unfortunately — Melissa Shield was Quirkless.
Perched on his shoulder, Nyx eyed the girl, her eyes falling on her chest. "Tch…" she tsked in Luke's ears. "Mid."
"Nyx!" Luke gasped.
That seemed to have woken All Might up.
"Oh, right!" All Might faced the students. "Everyone, this is my good friend's daughter. Melissa, these are my students."
"Hello," Melissa said in perfect Japanese. "I am Melissa Shield. Nice to meet you."
As the students returned the greeting, Kaminari and Mineta went nuts, already planning something devious.
Suddenly, Melissa's eyes landed on Luke, who was standing a touch farther from everyone else.
With her blue eyes widening, she ran around the group, making Luke step back in surprise.
"Hey!" Melissa shouted. "This Hero Costume! I know it!"
Oh, yeah… Luke sighed in relief. "Your father designed it," he nodded.
Luke's Hero Costume, which he liked to call Black, was designed and manufactured at I-Island, under the guidance of David Shield himself.
"Whoa!" Melissa grinned. Finally, she took her eyes off the Costume, and her gaze landed on the boy wearing it. "Uncle Might! You didn't tell your School takes exchange students…"
To Melissa, Luke looked like a typical teenager from America.
As All Might explained that Luke was Japanese, Melissa finally eyed the bird. "That's a cute raven."
Nyx, who didn't seem interested in Melissa at all, suddenly opened her eyes and flew to her shoulder.
"What a well-cultured young woman you are, mongrel," she cawed. "Tell me — are you dating someone…"
"Nyx!" Luke snatched her off Melissa as the rest of the girls stared at his back with narrowed eyes.
"Haha!" All Might laughed. "All right, Melissa. Let's go and surprise your dad. And — the rest of you —
"— go and have fun!"
Just as the students dispersed, All Might secretly took Midoriya with him to see Dave, a group of people docked at an underground port.
And — one of them was a Villain who even Luke would have never guessed to arrive on the I-Island.
