It's your dear writer here. Since Volume 1 of Fated to the Alpha King has come to an end, I'll be taking a short break to gather ideas, plan the next plotlines, and prepare Volume 2 properly.
But while we wait, I thought it would be fun to share some behind-the-scenes information with you!

How did Fated to the Alpha King start?
Originally, I simply wanted to write a story that combined things I love: BL, omegaverse, and werewolves. But I also wanted to try something different from my previous stories.
That's actually how Theron became both the Alpha King and the Moon God. I wanted a powerful character whose love story would stretch across lifetimes.

What about their past lives?
In Volume 2, we will start uncovering much more about Aiden and Theron's past lives. Some memories may return… and not all of them are happy.
Their history together is deeper than even Aiden realizes.

What about the romance?
Don't worry to the readers who came for the romance. 😏
There will definitely be both spice and fluff between Aiden and Theron in Volume 2. Their relationship will continue to grow as they learn to trust each other more—especially now that they are parents.

Which pup is which?
Our three little troublemakers are:
Kael – the oldest (by a few seconds)
an little copy of his alpha father
Ryn – the middle pup
black hair, white ends and golden eyes, the wild card.
Lior – the youngest
most like his omega father.
Each of them already has their own personality… and they may inherit more from their parents than expected.

Why do Aiden and Theron look like they do?
Here's a fun fact!
In my original idea, Aiden actually had white hair, and Theron had black hair. But after I developed the full plot and their personalities, it didn't match their vibe anymore.
So I switched it—and honestly, I think it fits them much better now.

Does Aiden have friends besides Ronan?
Yes! Aiden has another close friend in the pack:
Eirik.
He's someone who has been around for a long time and has helped Aiden in many ways.
(You might see more of him in Volume 2.)

How long did it take to plan the story?
When I first started writing Fated to the Alpha King, I didn't actually know about the pups yet. They appeared later when the story started to grow naturally.

Did the characters surprise you?
Aiden was originally supposed to leave the pack and hide in the human world, but as i wrote i find out he was more loyal to the pack then i had expected.

Why is pregnancy only 5 months?
In this world, omega pregnancies are shorter because wolf instincts take over during labor. Once Aiden shifts into wolf form, his body follows instinct instead of human logic.

Why are the pups half human / half wolf?
The pups were born with wolf traits (ears, tails, glowing eyes) because they are the children of the Moon God and werewolf babys, meaning they from brith was wolf and human like Aiden is, Their bodies reflect both worlds.

Did Theron always know Aiden was his mate?
Theron actually knew about Aiden long before Aiden knew about him. Because of his Moon God nature, he could feel when his mate was reborn.

Is Theron always calm?
Fun fact:
Even though Theron looks calm most of the time, his wolf is extremely possessive. If anyone threatens Aiden or the pups, that calm disappears very quickly. maybe we see more of that in season 2.
