A flickering green meteor streaked down from the heavens, crashing into the ground—revealing Russell's figure.
Daisy, upon seeing him, collapsed to her knees with a thud, her pupils trembling violently. She was clearly terrified—utterly consumed by fear.
The Soul-Stealer Armor dispersed into the air.
With her head pressed tightly against the ground, she didn't dare look up. Trembling, she cried out in panic:
"Great God King, my mind was deceived by the Serpent! Everything I did—it wasn't truly my will!"
"Jane and I are good friends. How could I ever want to kill her?!"
"I really didn't mean it… wuwuwu…"
She sobbed uncontrollably, appearing genuinely heartbroken.
Thor stood in silence. He wasn't sure whether he should take revenge.
But then, a cold, mocking voice echoed across the field.
"Cul Borson... I never thought you'd kneel so willingly."
"No wonder you're stuck at the peak of the Godfather level, doing nothing but trying to instill fear in the Nine Realms. All these years have been a waste."
Russell knew the enemy wasn't dead—he had received no system feedback. And when he saw Daisy's overwhelming fear, he instantly realized the truth: The Serpent had finally given up everything and possessed her!
Thor was stunned and hadn't yet reacted when he suddenly saw the dissipated armor on Daisy's body begin to reassemble. In an instant, a sharp blade formed in her hand—and she lunged at him!
The attack radiated with pure malice. For a split second, Thor felt the chilling breath of death.
But just then, a burst of red light flashed.
Daisy's body froze mid-motion. The hand holding the blade stopped in mid-air.
A dark red spear had pierced through her chest. Scarlet blood trickled along the spear's thorns, blossoming into several blood roses—eerily beautiful and vibrant.
She slowly turned her head, her eyes filled with fury and despair.
Then suddenly, her emotions twisted into madness, and she burst into hysterical laughter:
"Hahahahaha! I saw it! I saw it!"
"The true Ragnarök is coming! The World Tree will burn and collapse! All the gods will fall! I'll be waiting for you all in hell!!"
"I lost… but you didn't win!"
"...heh..."
Her laughter came to a sudden halt. Her face turned an ashen blue-gray.
She was utterly dead—not even a trace of her will remained.
Thor trembled slightly. He turned his head and saw Russell's calm expression. He exhaled deeply in relief.
Thank God... if the boss thinks everything's fine, then there must be nothing wrong.
I'm just little Kayla... I shouldn't overthink things.
Russell didn't pay her outburst much attention.
He was listening to the system feedback in his ear:

Immortality – As long as you're within the range of the World Tree, you can resurrect through the fear of others.
Incarnation of Jörmungandr – The World Serpent manifests through fear and possesses the power to devour everything!
Note: When consuming transcendent beings, exercise caution — you might overstuff yourself and die.
Transcendent beings? Transcendent gods?
Russell felt the system might be overestimating him. That kind of multi-dimensional existence wasn't something he could worry about right now.
Still, he was more than satisfied with the serpent's contribution. It was truly a case of killing two birds with one stone.
Earlier, he had used divine power to create miracles via illusion magic, summoning Jörmungandr and devouring the divine power of the snake.
The system then plundered the source of the Fear Power — essentially its godhood.
The divine power was the "lake," and godhood was the "source."
What he hadn't expected, though, was the bonus immortality trait.
No wonder Odin had only been able to seal the beast rather than kill it.
If Russell hadn't obtained the Instant Death Thorn Spear by chance, along with the system's plundering ability, he wouldn't have been able to eliminate the serpent completely.
Now it made sense why that snake had been so furious at the end.
Because this time, he was truly dead — no more resurrections!
Thanks to Orochi for his selfless sacrifice, Russell continued scanning through the other entries.
These came from several of the other Worthy who wielded hammers and had yet to be reviewed.
[Advanced Elite Combat (Green)]
Grants perfect mastery of peak human combat techniques.
An Original Sin ability — completely useless to Russell.
[Power of Cyttorak (Purple-Gold)]
Derived from the Crimson Lord's magical energy. Grants immense strength and durability, and the user never tires.
Note: Use of this power draws the attention of the Crimson Lord (Cyttorak), though he rarely cares about individual users.
Russell raised an eyebrow.
This ability clearly came from Juggernaut.
Contrary to popular belief, his power source wasn't the X-gene — it came from the demon-lord Cyttorak!
Although the system claimed powers processed through it were unclaimed and would not corrupt the user, Russell still didn't load it immediately.
He decided it was best to store it within the system and only equip it when needed — just in case Cyttorak suddenly took an interest in him.
Next came the batch of Hulk's 733 entries:

Grants incredible super-strength and exaggerated physical abilities. The angrier the user becomes, the stronger the power grows.
Note: Weakness has been removed. No second personality will be generated.
[Oceanic Power (Purple)]
Allows breathing and free movement underwater. Grants powerful aquatic strength and combat skills.
Can control seawater, create tsunamis, waterspouts, and other water-based attacks.
In the ocean, the user can summon marine creatures to fight alongside them.
[Matter Absorption (Blue-Purple)]
The body can absorb the properties of any material touched, temporarily gaining those traits.
[Gargoyle Form (Purple)]
Allows the user to transform into a hard stone statue.
Can attack the mind using sonic waves.
Eyes can emit a petrifying gaze, turning organic matter into stone!
Russell smiled with satisfaction.
Among the eight Worthy, only Yuan and Daisy were disappointments.
The others had contributed very powerful entries!
Not only had his divine-level strength and defense improved once again, but he also gained many new offensive abilities.
The Petrifying Gaze, in particular, was extremely difficult to defend against.
Yet none of those were the most important gains from this battle.
All of these abilities only brought Russell closer to the untouchable Peak of the Godfather Tier.
But when he shattered Thor's destiny...
That was when he finally felt —
He had touched the barrier!
