Chapter 125 - 125 Miracle!

Pantheon!

Thebes!

Asgard!

In these three realms connected to the World Tree, the gods witnessed a streak of light break free from reality and plunge into the lower dimensions!

Compared to the massive serpent that coils around the World Tree, this beam of light seemed minuscule—almost insignificant.

But in the very next moment, that beam of light erupted with a dazzling green radiance!

The dark dimension was instantly illuminated!

A green fixed star, rivaling even Jörmungandr, appeared beside the World Tree in a truly shocking manner!

As the green light twisted and contorted, a colossal serpent—its body etched with strange, ancient patterns—burst forth from that fixed star, revealing an overwhelming, otherworldly form!

"Impossible!"

Zeus shouted in disbelief, his face twisted with shock.

He couldn't comprehend how another being could transform into Jörmungandr—and more terrifyingly, the aura it radiated was even more powerful!

Especially those strange markings—they seemed to contain an even more fearsome divine chronology!

In the Theban God Realm—

The sun god Ra trembled inwardly. Within the giant serpent, he sensed an indescribable force—

A power beyond the sun, beyond light, and even beyond death itself!

Asgard—

The golden glow vanished from Heimdall's eyes.

He had tried to "see" the source of this power—but just one glimpse nearly swallowed his entire soul.

Terrified, he quickly shut his Eye of Truth.

Odin, standing beside him, also froze in place.

He had witnessed Russell's actions, yet still couldn't believe what he was seeing!

This was illusion magic!

But...

How could illusion magic possibly be this powerful? It was unfathomable!

Even Loki, with his formidable illusion magic inside the mirror dimension, had only ever conjured an illusory Surtur—and that Surtur lacked the true destructive might of the real Doom Bringer.

But the world serpent before them now—

Odin could clearly sense: this was no illusion. It possessed the same power as Jörmungandr!

This wasn't just a trick.

This... was a miracle!

Atop the World Tree, the true great serpent froze like a statue.

Its eyes were filled with a mix of astonishment and shock.

It could sense it clearly—this energy was exactly the same as its own!

But—

This was supposed to be a power tied to the very origin of its soul—unique, a gift bestowed by destiny itself.

How could someone else truly become... it!?

"You're fake! I'm the real one!"

"Liar!"

The great serpent let out a deafening roar, and the energies of the World Tree rippled violently in response!

Russell's gaze turned sharp, his figure towering as he stared coldly at the serpent:

"You're right. I am different from you."

"Because..."

"I exist on a higher level than you!"

As he spoke, a milky white light burst from Russell's body, and under the moonlight that stunned the serpent, his form began to swell again.

This was divine power.

It was the divine power Russell understood the least—and used the least.

And the moment he saw Jörmungandr, a strange feeling surged through him. The phantom magic inside him stirred, and a primal instinct echoed in his heart.

He materialized the phantom magic within his body.

That shouldn't have been possible!

But this divine power had finally revealed one of its most mysterious abilities—

A miracle.

Turning decay into wonder. Making the impossible… reality.

At that moment, Odin unexpectedly guessed the truth.

But the serpent could not accept this reality at all!

He roared hysterically, opened his massive maw full of jagged fangs, and bit fiercely—into himself!

Russell didn't summon other powers within the body of the World Serpent. Instead, he chose the most primal form of combat—

Pure, physical battle.

Two enormous pythons, larger than anything reality could contain, tore into each other beneath the World Tree.

Each drop of blood was the size of a lake.

Each scale that was ripped off was as vast as a plain.

Their massive bodies twisted and coiled, exuding an unimaginable power that rippled through the fragile lower dimension!

Even in reality, the gods watching the battle were left in indescribable shock.

That kind of cosmic-scale combat—transcending dimensions—still filled them with a suffocating sense of awe.

The very foundation of the dimension was being torn open.

Daisy, who had moments ago been cheering with excitement, fell completely silent.

The excitement in her eyes faded. It was replaced by fear.

Because every drop of blood that could drown a city, every torn scale, came from the Father of Serpents—Jörmungandr!

Whether it was size, strength, or defense—it was now obvious who held the upper hand.

The serpent was about to lose.

Even among World Serpents, there was a difference in power.

The roars grew weaker, until at last came a final, agonized wail.

The wounded serpent, bleeding and disfigured, screamed and lunged toward the World Tree once more.

There—every leaf represented a world.

But now, he had completely abandoned the prophecy that said Thor would perish alongside him.

Thor?

Forget it!

He was about to die now!

Just as he was about to climb the World Tree, that mysterious tree hidden beneath the fabric of reality suddenly lit up with blinding brilliance!

All the pathways and gaps connecting to real worlds were instantly sealed!

"No!"

The serpent couldn't understand. Why was this happening? Why would the World Tree help his enemy—and reject him?

He began shrinking in desperation, attempting to retreat through the last remaining crack in reality.

But at that very moment, a magnetic storm swept through space, unleashing a breathtaking aurora.

And deep within it—the serpent's expression turned to horror!

He was trapped!

The space encompassed by the aurora had solidified like amber.

He tried to transform back into his true form—Jörmungandr—to break free of the prison…

But it was too late.

A gaping abyss opened—and swallowed him whole.

There was no sensation of falling into a stomach.

Because Jörmungandr's power is devouring.

And once he began to eat the serpent, the battle was already over.

The dazzling light reappeared as the victorious World Serpent coiled into a single stream of light, left that shattered dimension, and returned to reality.

The shadow of the World Tree slowly faded from the real dimension, leaving Zeus and the other gods speechless.

Until now, the three great pantheons had never acknowledged each other's rule.

But now…

A new undisputed God-King had emerged.

One who wielded overwhelming power.

One who used the serpent's own strength against him—and destroyed him!

And in that moment, Odin was the most shocked of all.

Because the man before him had shattered the prophecy Odin once obtained through a sacrifice at the Fountain of Wisdom.

He had changed Thor's fate.

Even the Sword of the Gods, forged on the Dwarf Planet, had been rendered useless.

It was far beyond what anyone had imagined!

Odin realized that if they had fought this battle in Asgard…

Not only would he have been killed—

The entire realm of the gods would have been annihilated.

A single decision had made all the difference.
