Chapter 9 - Wedding Night [Part 2]

"Yes," I replied as logic went out the window.

"You won the game."

I chewed the inside of my mouth. I tried to speak, but I was distracted when he grabbed the hairpin, and my hair fell freely over my shoulders.

"No," I whispered, pressured by everything, the indifference in his eyes when he was anything but. He knew, and it was only obvious we were still playing that game.

I don't want to play anymore, especially when I no longer have the advantage.

"I cheated, and you knew I did. I'm not a fool."

"Admitting now, are we?" Drevon amused.

"I—"

"You should've played the fool because if you did, then this night wouldn't have to happen. You'd have been stuck on your win as my loss."

I swallowed a lump in my throat. "What will happen now, then?"

It didn't matter what I did or didn't. This night was inescapable.

His hand grasped my chin, and the callose feel of it compelled my eyes shut in ecstasy. Just a brush unraveled steam in my body, a fire spreading over like a tingle.

I felt breath on my face, letting me know just how close he was. "What a good husband will do to punish his wife for cheating."

I flashed my eyes open, but everything spun momentarily, and it took a moment to realize he had picked me up and circled me to the bed.

My back met the soft mattress, a heavenly feel that pricked my body in quivers.

Drevon hovered above me, and the sight of him was a soft prayer to temptations as well as my coming death.

Will I survive him? I bit my bottom lip. I think I can. What? No, no, no! That's the brew talking!

"S-Shall I turn, my liege?" I asked, trying to say the words out loud without stuttering like a fool. "I-In the way I can receive you, on all fours."

Maybe if I do, this night will end as quickly as it came and I can douse the fire that was infesting.

"Is that what you were taught, little wife?"

Little wife?

He leaned down to me in a heartbeat, and my body went rigid as he lingered there, eyes holding mine in an unquestionable intensity.

It's getting far too hot, and it feels like my body will erupt in flames just by being under those eyes that seemed like they wanted to swallow me whole.

"You're burning."

"Am I?" I clenched the sheets tightly.

"You smell sweeter, too."

I flinched when I felt something fluffy grazing my thigh delicately, too slow to detail what it was. I froze when it got closer to my wet hole.

Drevon tipped his head like something was wrong, his mouth curving into a teasing smile. "What's wrong, little wife?"

What is he doing? That was not his hand, so what is it?

It shifted again, this time slower, but it didn't stop. I gasped when it nipped around my sensitive area, my hand flew and grasped his biceps to get up and take a look, but his massive frame caged me, his body was like a mass of wall I couldn't break through.

I shivered when he coiled it, the silky texture alarming me, but my body diluted a response, and I moaned.

I should be quiet. I wasn't meant to make a sound.

Like he discerned my restraint, he coiled it again, slower with precision, the rest of my logic blowing away like the wind on leaves.

"M-My l-liege," I moaned softly.

The soothing sensation pulled me deeper into a reverie, everything went faint, and all I could see, smell, and feel was him.

And he just watched, calm, but feral in a way I couldn't explain as he gauged my reaction with every action he pulled, and when my breathing hitched, lips parting in awe of euphoria, he focused on that spot, making it impossibly slow yet so...sweet.

The back of my head drove into the sheets, my nails digging into his skin as my body hinged and something assembled within, rising like a tide, reaching the shell.

Just when I thought it wouldn't get anymore higher, it did when Drevon twisted it in an impossible, sluggish manner that dragged out what wrenched within and unleashed it to the surface.

Amidst my release, I wriggled beneath him, my hips reaching toward that softness, but exhaustion crawled through me, and my body relaxed, my chest heaving.

Drevon leaned down, his hot breath brushing against my ear. "Stunning."

I melted again, but I didn't have time to grasp it when he instantly took away whatever brought me bliss.

A tulip.

He brought it to his nose and took a deep whiff, eyes closing, and I just stayed there and watched, eyelid heavy and dazed.

When he opened his eyes, the color glowed the purest crimson I've ever seen.

"I've got a new favorite scent now...tulip mixed with your cum."

I awoke, feeling as light as a feather, the softness of the bed pulled me in for a far deeper sleep, but the intense smell of perfume made me crinkle my nose.

I opened my eyes, my vision blurring at first, but when it cleared, the other side of the bed was empty.

I didn't know why there was a sting on my chest because of that cold spot. Last night, he only pleasured me with the flower, and the rest was blurry. I think I fell asleep right after.

I bit my bottom lip. It may have been brief, but his gentleness was even more confusing. I'd dreaded this night for months, and yet when it finally came, it was nothing like I expected.

I ran my hand through my hair before pushing my body to sit up. I froze when I found a woman at the table, adjusting her corset, which made her breasts seem like they were on the verge of spilling out.

She wore no undergarments either, her backside on full display with silk stockings up her legs.

"Who are you?" I questioned with a frown.

The woman turned, a smile curling on her red-painted lips. "Oh...look, the human is awake." She used her pinky finger to brush the corner of her lips. "I thought you'd never wake up."
