Chapter 13 - Ch 12 Teasing diana

Diana's eyes sparkled with excitement. Coming from an ancient world devoid of skyscrapers and cars, she burned with curiosity to explore.

She rushed to get ready, only for Lucifer to pinch her cheek playfully. *"Let's go, my cute wife."*

*"Hmph!"* She turned away, hiding her flushed face—though the red tips of her ears betrayed her.

As they ventured out, Lucifer guided her through the bustling city, explaining everything from traffic lights to smartphones.

**Diana:** *"So this world has no mana? People can't use magic?"*

**Lucifer:** *"Correct."*

**Diana:** *"Then how can* you *cast spells?"*

**Lucifer:** *"That's a secret."* He grinned, while internally noting:

*〈Rakshasa powers don't rely on mana—they draw from my own energy.〉*

After a lavish dinner at a five-star hotel, Lucifer and Diana strolled back to the bar under the moonlight. The quiet between them felt oddly comfortable—until Diana broke the silence.

**Diana:** *"Your cooking is better than that overpriced place."*

**Lucifer:** *"Oh? So my wife prefers her husband's meals?"*

She turned away, but not fast enough to hide her blush.

Back home, Lucifer flopped onto the bed while Diana gathered bedsheets, intent on sleeping in the main hall.

**Lucifer:** *"Where are you going?"* (His arm shot out to block her path.)

**Diana:** *"To the hall. I'm* not *sharing a bed with you!"*

**Lucifer:** *"You're sleeping with me."*

**Diana:** *"Impossible!"*

**Lucifer:** *"I can make it possible."* His voice turned sly. *"Come here now, and I might consider returning your powers."*

Diana gritted her teeth. The temptation was too strong—she needed her strength back. Reluctantly, she slid onto the bed, keeping as much distance as possible.

**Diana:** *"Don't even* think *about touching me."*

**Lucifer:** *"Of course, my wife. But what if* you *decide to take advantage of* me?" *He smirked.*

**Diana:** *"That will* never *happen!"* She whipped around, turning her back to him with a huff.

**[Ding! Host has a lucky draw chance.]**

Lucifer blinked. In his banter with Diana, he'd almost forgotten the system.

*"Draw,"* he commanded instantly.

[Congratulations host for getting 1 million]

Lucifer signed and got back to sleep

Next morning sunlight hit diana eyes as soon as she opened her eyes she saw herself sleeping on Lucifer chest

Somehow, they'd ended up tangled together in sleep, Lucifer's arms locked around Diana. Though she tried to wriggle free, the sight of his peaceful expression stopped her—*he looked almost… angelic.*

*'He really is handsome.'*

As if sensing her thoughts, Lucifer pulled her tighter against his chest. Now pressed flush against him, Diana's heartbeat roared in her ears, her face burning. Panicked, she shoved him off the bed with all her strength.

**Lucifer's POV:**

He'd been awake the entire time. Dragging her closer was deliberate—and her flustered reaction? *Perfect.* Rising from the floor, he caught her scarlet cheeks and glinting eyes. Too tempting. In one swift motion, he kissed her.

**Diana:** *"You bas—mmph!"*

The kiss stole her breath. Her ears burned crimson, her mind short-circuiting

The kiss lasted minutes, leaving both breathless when they finally parted.

**Lucifer:** *"Thanks for the meal, my wife."* Grinning, he licked his lips.

**Diana:** *"You—shameless—!"* She pummeled his chest, her face scarlet.

When her fury subsided to a simmer, she glared. *"Now return my powers."*

**Lucifer:** *"When did I promise that?"*

**Diana:** *"You lied last night!"*

**Lucifer:** *"I said I'd* think *about it."* He tapped his temple. *"Still thinking."*

The realization hit her: *The Dragon Queen, outmaneuvered by a bastard!* With a roar, she stormed out, slamming the door hard enough to rattle the walls.

Lucifer chuckled. *'My wife's fiercer than a storm.'*

After his shower, Lucifer strode into the kitchen to prepare dinner.

**Lucifer:** *"Wife, come here."*

**Diana:** *"Not coming!"* She crossed her arms defiantly.

**Lucifer:** *"Fine. But don't expect any of my cooking—I'll order takeout for you instead."*

The threat worked instantly. Diana bolted to the kitchen, though she'd never admit it was Lucifer's food she craved.

**Diana:** *"What do you want?"* She scowled.

**Lucifer:** *"Help me cook. Do a good job, and I'll make chocolate cake and cookies."* He'd already discovered her weakness for sweets.

Diana hesitated. Helping this infuriating man was unthinkable—but the promise of chocolate? *Irresistible.*
