Uriel moved his hand behind him, settling comfortably on the bed. He glanced at Apollonia with a smile. “I wish to hear you play the lyre, Your Highness”
Apollonia returned his smile, chuckling softly, which prompted Uriel to make that adorable puppy-like expression again.
“Why don’t you ask me for something like a house, just like everyone else?”
“When would I have the chance to go there even if I had one? Besides, I already have one.”
“Oh, I must’ve completely forgotten about Count Viche’s dominion, famous for its wide orchards and breathtaking garden.”
Uriel shrugged in response to Apollonia’s lighthearted joke. He got up and walked over to the corner where her lyre was placed.
Apollonia took the lyre. “Even if I play it, it’s always the same song. But you never seem to get tired of it. I would have thought your standards for music would have gotten higher after hearing so many songs.”
