“So?”
“Despite our efforts to stop him, Perris eventually charged towards Rajan, but they requested one-on-one duel.”
“With Perris?”
“No, they named me and Kylion and asked for one of us.”
Apollonia couldn’t hide her surprise. While Perris’ combat abilities were exaggerated, he was undoubtedly a less formidable opponent compared to Kylion and Uriel. It seemed peculiar that Rajan would choose anyone other than Perris, the Supreme Commander, as their representative.
Why would they have insisted on requesting the two people who were known as the strongest in the empire?
