"Yes," I typed a response and sent it to him. He showed up in front of my door the next minute, knocked, and I beckoned him in. He came in, picked up my bags, then went to the car and dropped them off.
"Ms.," he knocked on my door again.
"Yes," I snapped my gaze to the door.
"Everything is ready; let's go," he said.
"Yeah, I'll be right behind you," I informed him, and he left.
When I was done gathering my thoughts, I stood up and went downstairs. Beside my car, I saw Luo waiting.
"Ms.," she smiled once she saw me. "I'm going to miss you."
I laughed. "Really? But I'm not going away; I'll be back tomorrow morning, the next day, and the other days too. I won't give you a chance to miss me."
"Oh," she looked at Luo, then smiled. "I feel relieved now."
"How are you two holding up? Is it going strong?" I inquired, moving my gaze between Tom and Luo.
"Yes, it is," Tom responded.
"Do not hurt her, Tom. She's also my friend," I warned. He smiled.
