Siberia
The land of eternal frost, far in the north.
Jiro walked across an ancient, icy plain that hadn't melted in ages. Beneath his feet was a glacier over a thousand meters deep.
Using his super vision, he looked through the thick layers of ice and spotted an ancient temple sealed inside the glacier's core.
Right in the center of the temple stood a statue of a winged Pegasus, its head held high. Embedded in its forehead was the Horse Talisman, glowing with a strange light.
"Nice. Quiet this time," he muttered.
He raised a hand and gently touched the ice. At his fingertip, the Hellfire of the Dragon Talisman flickered.
In an instant, the permafrost vaporized, carving a straight tunnel all the way to the temple.
But just as Jiro stepped inside—
"Neighhhh!!"
A thunderous whinny exploded through the air as the icy shell covering the statue shattered. A massive, snow-white Pegasus rose up on its hind legs, its back covered in wings made of ice crystals.
Its eyes gleamed like sapphires, and every breath it took unleashed a blast of freezing air!
"Intruder," the giant horse spoke in a booming voice, slamming its front hooves down hard.
"Become an ice sculpture!"
CRACK!
A terrifying blizzard burst forth, instantly freezing the entire temple solid.
Moisture in the air turned into countless ice shards that shot at Jiro from every direction.
He sighed, too lazy to even lift a hand.
BOOM!
Every shard shattered mid-air about three meters from his body. The Pegasus stared in shock.
Its own freezing breath had somehow rebounded—freezing its hooves solid instead!
"Game over," Jiro said calmly.
His eyes flashed gold as he fired heat vision, hitting the spot on the horse's forehead where the talisman was embedded.
But instead of destroying it, the beam applied precise, extreme heat—enough to force the talisman to dislodge itself.
"Nooo!!"
The giant horse let out a final, sorrowful cry as it collapsed, freezing back into a statue.
The Horse Talisman floated down into Jiro's palm. It felt warm, like spring.
With a gentle wave of his hand, a magic circle spread out, and the talisman's power began to merge into him.
A strange energy flowed through his entire body, awakening a new power in his blood—completely opposite of destruction.
It was a power that could heal any injury in an instant.
It could also cleanse curses, purify corrupted souls, and negate magical damage.
He could even restore others to their peak condition—and repair broken buildings, machinery, and other non-living things.
Pretty much matched the Horse Talisman's original powers.
Then he placed his hand on the Siberian ice.
Buzz!
A wave of life surged out from him. The frozen soil around him started coming back to life!
Seeds buried deep beneath the ice began to sprout. Even a frozen mammoth corpse began regaining color—though it didn't come back to life.
The hole in the ozone layer above even began to repair itself in the light.
"Big area healing really burns through energy," Jiro noted—it had used up about 0.001% of his reserves.
"But it's no big deal."
Meanwhile, in EnglandDevonAn abandoned castle
Moonlight shone through broken glass, casting pale shadows on the damp stone walls.
Jackie Chan pressed himself against the cold wall, moving cautiously, ears perked for any sounds from the Dark Hand members.
"That's weird. I saw them turn into this hallway…" he muttered, frowning.
The Dark Hand had been super active lately, clearly searching for some kind of ancient magical artifact.
Uncle's magic detector had pointed them here—to something hidden in this old castle. Maybe it was part of Shendu's resurrection plan?
Just as Jackie was about to keep following them—
"Uncle Jackie!"
A young voice rang out through the silent castle, nearly scaring him to death.
"Hiya, Jade."
He answered automatically—then his eyes widened. "Jade?!!"
He spun around and saw Jade standing at the corner of the corridor.
She was wearing some kind of explorer outfit she'd somehow dug up, with a crooked cowboy hat on her head. Grinning, she waved.
"What are you doing here?!" Jackie hissed, rushing over.
"I told you to stay home and do your homework!"
"I did do it!" Jade said, blinking innocently. "Finished it before I came."
"Finished it—wait, how did you even get here?! This is England!"
"I took the stairs," she shrugged.
Jackie rubbed his forehead. "What stairs? There are no stairs from New York to here!"
"Details, Uncle Jackie. Not important." She waved it off and leaned in, whispering excitedly.
"I just saw Dark Hand guys heading to the basement. Looked like they found something!"
Jackie's eyes widened. "You saw them? Did they see you?"
"Of course not!" Jade beamed. "I've been watching stealth movies! My sneaky skills are maxed out!"
Jackie opened his mouth but ended up just sighing. "Stay close. Don't run off. This place is seriously dangerous."
"No worries, Uncle Jackie! I won't leave your side." She stuck out her tongue and gave a mock salute.
Three minutes later…
"Jade, next time, seriously—don't wander off alone, got it?" Jackie was walking ahead, lecturing.
"Jade?! Where'd you go?!"
He suddenly realized something was wrong—there was no one behind him.
In the underground chamber of the castle…
Jade crouched behind a stone gargoyle statue, watching a few Dark Hand members from a distance.
Finn, Ratso, and Chow were gathered around an ancient altar, where a bronze disc covered in runes sat.
"Boss said this thing can locate the other talismans," Finn scratched his head.
"But how do you even use it?"
"Try pressing this?" Ratso poked the center of the disc.
"Don't just poke random stuff! What if it's trapped?" Chow yanked his hand back.
Jade's eyes lit up. She quietly pulled out her phone, ready to snap a pic.
Just then—
BANG!
The chamber door flew open as Jackie slid in like a pro baseball player: "Dark Hand! Step away from the magical artifact!"
"It's Jackie Chan! Run!" Finn snatched the disc and the trio bolted down another tunnel in panic.
"Stop right there!" Jackie gave chase—but then heard a rustling above him.
He looked up—Jade was perched on a stone pillar, waving at him. "Uncle Jackie! I'll block 'em from this side!"
"JADE?!!" he shouted, completely confused. "What are you doing up there?! Where did you even go?! Get down!"
"Took the stairs!" Jade said cheerfully, hopping down.
Jackie: ...
Five minutes later…
The Dark Hand goons were tied up like dumplings, covered in bruises.
"So, what is this thing?" Jade asked, curiously poking the bronze disc.
"Don't touch that!" Jackie quickly snatched it away.
"It might be some cursed artifact!"
Suddenly, the runes on the disc lit up with a red glow, projecting a 3D map into the air.
All over the globe, glowing dots lit up—each one marking the location of a talisman!
"Whoa!" Jade's eyes sparkled. "It's like a Talisman GPS!"
But the map flickered, shifted… and then vanished into nothing.
Jackie's face turned serious. "Not good. The talismans are gone!"
He stood up abruptly. "We need to call Uncle and Captain Black, now!"
Jade peeked at the empty projection one more time, then quickly ran after him.
"....."
