The creature's head shifted slightly, and then its eyes darted toward them. Glowing red, sharp, and dangerous.
Everyone stayed still as the beast slowly emerged from the dim light, gradually moving toward them.
Then suddenly, it stopped, and its form was now fully visible.
It stood at the far end, its broad chest heaving violently with every breath. Its back was covered in a thick, shell-like armor, and its entire body was wrapped in coarse, reptilian scales.
The creature moved on six limbs, two powerful hind legs, two muscular forelimbs, and two additional limbs that jutted out oddly from its sides, giving it a nightmarish, insectoid gait.
A long, snout-like nose jutted forward, its nostrils flaring at the tip. Two eyes, set on either side of its head, glowed an eerie green in the dim light.
Its jaws opened slightly, revealing teeth as sharp as razors, each one glinting in the gloom, while two prominent fangs curved downward from the top jaw like miniature scimitars.
