The roots surged out of control, and in an instant, Seiki had seized command of them. Then, in a forceful reversal, they violently surged toward Obito.
"Cursed! My Wood Release is absolutely useless in front of my senior!" Obito dodged the attacks while thinking bitterly.
He only possessed one Mangekyō and couldn't use Susanoo, which required both eyes.
As for Kamui, there was an unwanted guest staying inside his space dimension. Unless he used it suddenly after days of inactivity, like when he first entered—otherwise, he risked being trapped forever.
That left Wood Release as his only option—and even that had been completely nullified by Seiki!
Caught in this relentless counterattack from Seiki, Obito soon found himself in a life-threatening situation.
Fortunately, he still had teammates.
While manipulating the giant arm to strike Seiki, Shisui simultaneously employed a genjutsu to disrupt him.
However, the genjutsu vanished like a stone sinking into the sea, producing absolutely no effect!

Shisui's eyes turned red, but he didn't say anything further.
"Watch out," Seiki warned. "Next, I'm going to get slightly serious!"
A chill went down everyone's spine. Did Lord Seiki mean he had been toying with them all this time?
As those words hung in the air, Seiki's speed suddenly tripled. Like flowing light, he bounced repeatedly within this confined space.
The skeletal giants surrounding Itachi and Fugaku crumbled like clay dolls in an instant.
"He's too fast!" Itachi's eyes widened. He couldn't even locate Seiki's position, let alone use Time Stasis!
As for accelerating his own perception of time, the speed difference was just too great. No matter how much he accelerated, it was useless!
Fugaku felt the same way. He sensed that the defense of the skeletal giants and Seiki's attacks were simply too far apart in strength. Unless they developed Susanoo to its Complete Form, this simplified version stood no chance at all!
