She had seen her brother lose during their handshake challenge, but she'd brushed it off. That was without martial souls. With his Tyrant Dragon soul spirit, Jiang Wuyue should've been unstoppable in the realm of physical strength. Yet now, what lay before her was a completely different outcome.
What she didn't know was that Gu You himself was also surprised.

Gu You now stood in the spot Jiang Wuyue had just occupied. He lowered his gaze to his clenched fist.
'I didn't expect this... When I push my speed to the limit, my strength rises too. So speed and force really do amplify each other.'
Jiang Wuyue's body slid down slowly. Blood dripped from his nose and mouth, his mind blank. Just now, it had felt like he'd been run over by a soul train. His entire body felt as though it had shattered.
Even with his third soul skill boosting both strength and defense, it wasn't enough.
Right now, he could feel Gu You's overwhelming golden dragon bloodline sweeping into him. That sense of suppression grew even stronger, shaking his own lineage. It was tearing apart his will.

That glowing black soul ring suddenly changed—morphing into a golden ring.
A wave of golden light spread out beneath Gu You's feet, rapidly expanding outward. Each step he took, the pure aura of the Golden Dragon King radiated in all directions.
And beneath him, the golden runic glow began to envelop Jiang Wuyue—
