"How… how is this possible?" Jiang Xing clenched his fists tightly, his mech's projection zooming in on that woman — and he could feel it, the soul power that surpassed even his own. A Title Douluo… and not just that, an evil soul master!
"What a bunch of useless trash. You can't even handle such a small task." Yuezi's delicate brows tightened slightly as she looked down at the evil soul masters losing ground. Her right hand clenched tightly, then she violently thrust it into the evil god's massive eye.
A surge of enormous power rushed through her arm; her blood vessels bulged dangerously, as if they were about to explode.
Her beautiful face twisted in madness. This was the moment she had waited so long for.
"The true god, the divine path I have pursued myself — let the world watch! All your arrogant words, here and now, mean nothing! This is the moment I ascend as god!!" Yuezi laughed maniacally.
Her body began to dissolve, fusing completely with the towering vines. The ground quaked; not only Jiang Xing, but even the surrounding evil soul masters were stunned.
Their boss… she… she had turned into a monster!
In the sky, the evil god let out a piercing, ghastly laugh. Vines surged skyward, wrapping around the evil eye, forming massive arms, a towering body — a giant of mythic proportions, a thousand meters tall, looking down on all beneath it like ants.
"What… what is that? No… no, stay away!!"
Screams.
Run!!
A massacre began. Countless fine vine tendrils pierced into human bodies, instantly draining them to dried husks — no time to react. Whether they were evil soul masters or Jiang Xing's soldiers, it made no difference.
The mechs' defenses were strong, able to block most vine attacks.
"All units, full firepower! Hold nothing back! Fire every last shell we have!!" Jiang Xing roared, channeling his soul power into the mech's blade, then slashing forward in a sweeping arc. Hundreds of vines were instantly severed.
"It's useless… all of it is useless!! I am now the sole god of this world." Yuezi's voice had turned hoarse, dark and menacing. As she spoke, even the sky seemed to tremble, thunder rolling across the heavens.
She raised her massive arms and swung them down at Jiang Xing's mech.
Jiang Xing gritted his teeth, bracing himself. His black-grade mech was built tough — but under this kind of attack, it might still be crushed to scrap.
Inside the cockpit, his hand slammed down on the firing switch, launching two seventh-grade soul-guided shells like flaming dragons.
Boom!!
A massive fireball erupted in the sky, scorching the evil god's body. The flames surged up, hard to extinguish.
The shockwave blasted Jiang Xing backward, some nearby buildings sheared clean in half by the force.
"Damn you… what an annoying attack!" the evil god sneered, shaking off the flames in an instant.

A massive stone block fell toward Gu You's head.
Inside the spiritual sea, the Ice Emperor Scorpion thought, 'It's over.'
As the stone stopped just two or three centimeters above his skull, the Ice Emperor Scorpion accepted its fate, even feeling a strange sense of relief.
'Maybe I should've died by the heavenly tribulation anyway. Living a few extra years was already a blessing, wasn't it?'
"Why so pessimistic? You're not dying — not when you're with me. We've got plenty of good days ahead."
The voice rang out, arrogant and unshaken, stunning the Ice Emperor Scorpion.
"You! I thought you'd turned into a vegetable! What happened? Why did half your soul vanish?"
"I'll tell you later. Even I don't fully understand yet."
In that moment, Gu You's eyes snapped open, sharp as blades. A powerful aura burst outward, shattering the falling stone instantly.
Three soul rings lit up around him — purple, purple, and red!
Two soul bones glowed faintly within his body.
His spiritual power stretched vast and boundless — truly the late stage of the Spirit Sea Realm!
Most striking of all, a faint purple halo pulsed and contracted behind his head.
At first, Gu You hadn't noticed it. Only now, sensing the flow of power, did he realize.
'Is this… a divine ring?' Gu You's heart pounded with excitement.
'If each seal unlocks a divine ring… then I'm destined to become a god-king! And every divine ring comes with a god-level ability. For this first ring, it's two domain abilities.'
Success was inevitable. Reaching the summit was already determined.
This was Gu You now.
He leaped upward, emerging into the upper levels, then out into the open. With his current strength, why should he fear the likes of Kuang Zhan? He would make that bastard taste true nightmare!
'Your spiritual sea is really strange,' the Ice Emperor Scorpion marveled inside his mind. 'You can simulate so many soul beasts, and they all feel so real.'
"Maybe… it's because they're real," Gu You chuckled.
"Ah?" The Ice Emperor Scorpion didn't quite understand.
"By the way, how many soul skills did your soul ring give me? And what are they?" Gu You asked.
"Of course it's two soul skills! I'm not like those man-made spirit souls you humans create that can grant multiple rings at once. Mine are direct. For your third ring, you gain mastery over Ultimate Ice and a domain skill called Frost Domain. Any soul master or beast within its range will have their movement speed and soul power circulation reduced by twenty percent, while your control over ice increases by fifty percent.
"As for your martial soul's unique skills, I don't know. Different martial souls produce different abilities. And the soul bone skills, you'll have to figure those out yourself later. Anyway, I'm feeling a bit sleepy… I won't chat anymore…"
The Ice Emperor Scorpion's voice faded.
"Better not wake up too soon," Gu You muttered.
The ground trembled violently. A thin vine slowly crept toward Gu You — then suddenly shot forward, aiming straight for his throat.
Gu You reacted in a flash, grabbing it and snapping it apart.
"What the hell is this thing?"
But the severed vine quietly reformed…
Gu You sprinted out of the underground warehouse — and froze at the sight before him.
Countless vines towered into the heavens. At the city's center, a colossal monster loomed, while endless missiles and explosions rained down upon it.
"Is this… the end of the world?" Gu You muttered, dodging a second wave of vine strikes.
Purple-Gold Annihilation Slash!
A dragon-shaped aura tore through the mass, corroding a wide swath of vines so they could no longer regenerate.
Advancing further, Gu You soon came upon a crowd of fleeing evil soul masters.
In a flash, he seized one, his voice cold. "What's going on here?"
The evil soul master stammered, "Don't kill me! Please don't kill me! I'll tell you everything!! The boss… the boss turned into a monster!!"
"A monster? I didn't expect scum like you to be afraid of anything."
With a casual flick of his hand, Gu You lopped off the man's head.
Purple Terror Gaze!
A violet light flashed. Every fleeing evil soul master around him instantly collapsed, blood streaming from their eyes, ears, nose, and mouth.
Their faces showed not fear — but peace, as if they had seen something beautiful in their final moments.
"Killing them like this… is still too easy for them," Gu You muttered darkly.
