Rachel handed Cora to her uncle, then walked over with a faint smile. "Uncle Zhang, let me help you carry some things."
"Miss Allen, you're too kind. These aren't heavy. Just tell me where you want them, and I'll take them there for you." Uncle Zhang looked at Rachel gratefully.
The woman standing before him had porcelain-white skin, short hair as black and smooth as seaweed, neatly kept, and a pure, sweet face lit up by a particularly lovely smile.
Although her relationship with the young master wasn't ordinary, she never acted arrogant. That made him look at her twice.
Rachel had been ready to take the items from him herself, but Uncle Zhang insisted on carrying them inside.
She didn't want to argue, so she just led the way.
"Uncle Zhang, you can put them here." Rachel guided him into the living room and pointed to a spot on the sofa.
The gifts included preserved goods, famous snacks, and some exquisitely packaged items Rachel didn't even recognize.
