Rachel tried to push the towel away. What, was this his way of rewarding her or something?
She didn't need it.
"Get dressed, don't catch a cold. Starting tomorrow, you'll work all day. No more going out to take orders." Kellan's tone was cold, laced with a dangerous warning.

Rachel's eyes turned a little red.
Tears hovered there, but she didn't want to provoke him anymore. Wrapped in the towel, she turned and walked towards her room.
The next few days were unexpectedly calm. Rachel still picked Kellan up and dropped him off for work.
Kellan didn't make any more moves toward her. It was like they'd gone back to normal all of a sudden.
She sent him to work, waited for him at the office, picked him up after, they'd eat together, sleep in the same place… but there was no real talking between them.
Aunt Ives looked worried, and Cora was restless.
