"I didn't know you couldn't swim," the man said, his voice low and hoarse.
But for someone as proud as him, even explaining this much was already his limit.
Asking him to apologize? That was impossible.
"If I could swim, would you have just thrown me in like that? I'm a person. I have dignity!" Rachel shouted, trying to stop her body from trembling.
Her voice was loud and filled with anger.
She lifted her chin like a proud swan and stared at his messy, handsome face. The feelings she had in the past two days were gone.
Her eyes were calm now... too calm.
"You have your dignity, but that doesn't mean you can flirt with other men. I gave you time off to rest, not to go out and mess around," Kellan said coldly, like a winter wind brushing past her ear.
Rachel froze.
Flirting with men?
Did she flirt with anyone today?
Donahue?
Please. Donahue had only helped her out.
Her clothes were soaking wet and she was already freezing, but now she felt even colder.
