The fourth wall displayed our counterattack strategy in red marker that looked disturbingly like blood.
"We have seventy-two hours," Elizabeth said without preamble, her voice carrying the focused intensity of someone who'd spent the night preparing for legal warfare. "Elena filed the competency petition at midnight. The emergency hearing is scheduled for Thursday morning."
