"You're not a bad partner. You're just someone who is very kind and caring to your partner. Don't ever think that way," she said as she looked into his eyes.
From those blue eyes, Davion could see the sincerity of his lover's heart. He knew he himself had done the best he had ever done but there was a sense of doubt in him.
If indeed he was someone who was kind to his partner and caring, then why had he failed in the past?
The man felt he had never done anything different from what he was currently doing. So what made Stella ultimately choose to leave him and be with another man?
"Sometimes things that happen are not necessarily your fault. She left you because of her own decision, especially since she never said the real reason other than to be with another man. It doesn't mean it was your fault when you let her go," she said again while rubbing the back of his hand.
